Shoulder Holster for Taurus Raging Judge Model 513 6 1/2" Barrel Without Scope or Laser

This holster is just right for the Taurus Judge with 6 1/2 inch barrel. It's comfortable, and it's probably the only practical way to carry the long barreled Judge.

So I bought this vs the side holster for the raging bull and I figured the revolver is too robust for any concealment (which wasn’t my plan to have it as) on the belt. Well it fits, I am 6’4 and it’s the size of my whole side of my chest. If you are overweight I don’t think this will work, I am broad shoulder and it fits better for small frame tho but biggger backs and reaching over a gut it is pretty much useless. So I am writing a review because I discovered something cool a few minutes ago. I was looking at the Velcro and I had issues with the thumb strap, it’s removable, there is a nice strap to hold the chest rig to your belt, it can be reversed and hidden why is that cool? Legit there is a strap on the main Velcro area that the thumb break was attached to and it’s enough for a BELT to go through to be a Cross holster.... so you have a shoulder holster and a cross holster for 20 (at a better quality than the belt holster that was also on amazon according to reviews.) cross holster may not be everyone’s cup of tea but two options in one package.

It is an excellent place to put your behemoth of a magnum. Comfort is what you get for what you pay. The manufacturer now has more than enough nylon strapping to fit anyone. It could even be subbed out for a better quality strap, leather or sew on padding. I am 6'5" with very broad shoulders and I very much love this holster, minus the minimal discomfort under the right arm (for a right draw holster). It should be known this is not a match grade, all season, mil-spec holster, But it is an excellent economically priced holster that does its singular job well. Fits my Judge like a glove, Also the holster has side straps and velcro as to be mounted on the left or right hip with ease. A perfect holster to use so you can keep your leather one in the safe with the other safe queens.

I almost gave this 5-stars, but the thinner strap that goes to the right is too thin. It's not uncomfortable, but thin enough almost to be annoying and it makes it feel a little unstable. MADE IS USA...I like that. It fits my Raging Bull 454 Casull w/6.5" barrel WELL.

The holster is well built and very light. Maybe it's my frame, but I can't get the the holster to rest comfortably on me no matter what I do. The straps seem to cut into my shoulders, even without the firearm in the holster. I had to alter the holster to make it fit on my shoulders, PIA, but got it to work.

The holster system is nice but the only issue I have is that it is difficult to draw my revolver from the holster let alone draw it quickly. It’s a decent holster but I don’t know if it’s the one for me as I’d like a holster big enough for my revolver like this one but that I’m able to draw from easier.
