Finally! After going through three different wireless systems, including a very expensive DJI Microphone system. I came across this thanks to the TikTok shop. My expectations were low, but the price seemed right. Imagine my surprise when it just worked out of the box and the sound quality was good enough for what I needed. My only complaint is that it shows up as a generic USB microphone in the settings instead of the brand name. I know that this is probably mass-produced and it has a dozen different names slapped on the product, but I was really impressed, very happy.

It was very easy to connect to my phone, and I didn’t have to install any apps. The battery lasts a long time, and the charging case is very convenient. I’ve been using it for TikTok videos and live streams, and it has made a big difference in my audio quality. Definitely worth the price. I highly recommend it!

Really like the magnetic clip, they are lightweight and have decent sound for the most part. However due to the Bluetooth element, there can be some slight “underwater” moments so using these for serious sound quality (like podcasting) is not your best bet. But they’re great for video conferencing and multitasking during calls.

It requires more testing. -. The product could use an improvement for those of us seeking other uses. Read on to learn about why I needed a lavalier mic and what I discovered about the performance / efficacy of the Kukiho system (B0DTDZVVHP). USE CASE I am a complex medical patient with communication disabilities. I have been looking for a means to make a phone call when I can’t speak or move. To solve the hands-free, articulation issue with making a phone call, my OT suggests using Vocal Shortcuts on my iPhone 17e, a feature Apple introduced in May 2024, after a 3-year nightmare with my state’s telephone equipment program. DETAIL & TROUBLESHOOTING I have done a trial of the Vocal Shortcuts feature on my iPhone using the phone’s internal mic, and it worked: 1. Settings > Accessibility 2. Under “Speech” Section > Vocal Shortcuts > Toggle On And to set call to speaker so I can hear the caregiver when I call 1. Settings > Accessibility > Touch > Call Audio Routing. 2. Set to Speaker. However, it was inconsistent and unreliable. I fiddled around with settings to clear up mic conflicts under: 1. Settings > Accessibility > Voice Control (toggled off, but sub toggles for Confirmation” and Play Sound were toggled on…so I turned those off) I got it to work briefly ...until I got it into the bedroom, the environment where I will be using it. I tried to use the feature at a distance and facing away from the phone mic while air purifiers are running and must always run due to another disability. It failed. Meanwhile, everyone else and even non-human sounds, like a car zooming by or someone else sighing, activated a call to my caregiver...but not activating with my effort against what I trained it. I learned that a bluetooth lavalier mic may solve the gap necessary to pick up the sound and weed out other sounds giving it a false positive. I trialed the Kukiho Wirelss Lavalier Mic bc it had the promise of a 36-hour battery life, a duration that promised to get me through the night. It failed til I learned I would need to train the AI through the mic bc the sound quality between the phone mic and the lavalier mic were different. This succeeded until the device stopped working after ~3 min of "no distinct sound or vocal modulation. There was no promise of being "on" all the time, so I'm not going to downgrade the review on account of this; it really is a great system for what it's advertising. CONCLUSION I need the system to stay on and actively listening all night, not automatically shut off and be ready and available to accept my vocalization in the morning, approximately 8-10 hrs later to make that emergency call – so this is a FAIL for me. I hear that Vocal Shortcuts may randomly stop listening, which would put a huge wrench in using Vocal Shortcuts (lavalier mic or not) as a solution altogether. IT IS UNCLEAR whether this failure is due to the microphone itself or whether the Vocal Shortcuts feature on the phone randomly stops listening. The only way to find out for sure is to get a mic set that guarantees it doesn’t auto shut off. I need to send this product back. I have been referred to the Hollyland Lark M2 which MAY meet all my tech goals for this application. I admit using Kukiho lavalier mic is an off-market use. BUT… OTHER CONSIDERATIONS Noise Cancellation. THe noise cancellation on this Kukiho system is phenomenal. Other reviewers for this product have videos of how well the noise cancellation works, and my experience is similar. I will add my video showing the automatic time out instead, when the device appears to shut itself off. Facebook Anomaly. When I uploaded a video file I took of myself explaining my barriers to Facebook for some support, the audio of my voice sounded distorted, like an echo as if in a concert hall. IDK if that was a file conversion mishap caused by FB’s process or not, whether that’s a repeatable error or not, but the file on my phone remains as expected. This could use more testing. Windmuff Mic Caps. I love the soft, tiny, Tribble windmuff microphone caps. It’s a sensory dream. Don’t brush against it while recording though; it produces a very loud, sharp sound on the recording. The Tribble Muff Caps fit firmly on the mic; I never had them fall off during my week trial and I wore a lavalier all day. The whole system seems like a convenient, plug-and-play, easy-start method to clean up audio for content creating.

I was actually influenced by TikTok, but the price here was cheaper than on TikTok shop + faster shipping here. It doesn’t actually work like they say. When the noise cancelling function is turned on, it makes your voice sound slightly underwater, slightly tinny, just very unnatural. It also doesn’t cancel out other voices. It will pick up background voices. It does do an excellent job of cancelling ambient noises like fans, traffic, laundry, any random background noise that isn’t people. Too many TikTok creators said it was perfect for moms who want to create content and always have kids in the background… well, it’s not. It picks up the kids. So, this got returned. It was extremely easy to use though.

I bought these microphones for recording videos, and the difference in audio quality is noticeable. Setup was quick and easy, and they worked almost immediately. The sound comes through much clearer and helps reduce some background noise while recording. They’re also lightweight and comfortable to wear. They’ve been very practical for content creation, interviews, and everyday videos. I’m very happy with this purchase.
