I bought this HDMI switch because my TV only has one 2.0 HDMI port. So far I use it for my PS4 Pro and Xbox 1S. The picture and sound quality are perfect for what the consoles could offer. However, I noticed only with my PS4 Pro, not Xbox 1S, the video cuts out (not sound) for 3 seconds, and only once each time I use the PS4 at the beginning, usually while still in the menu.I contacted tech support ([email protected]) and they responded within an hour with a solution.They said "I recommend you can firstly un-plug PS4 Pro from the HDMI box, connect it to TV directly and wait until you get good audio with no cut-out. After that, re-plug PS4 Pro to the HDMI box, it should work fine then."They also mention if that doesn't work, they would further assist me which was great. I tried their trouble-shooting method and have not seen any more video cut-out from my PS4 after a few tests.I'm very pleased with tech supports quick response time and clear instructions. Aside from that, no issues, solid metal device that automatically switches my consoles.

Very few TVs support 5.1 audio passthrough, and precisely zero TVs support LPCM/PCM passthrough, so I was stuck with stereo sound from my PS4 over ARC. Now, by wiring all my devices into this switch and the switch to the Soundbar, I get full 5.1 LPCM from all devices as well as Atmos from my Apple TV.It seems simple enough, but I tried 3 switches before this and every single one had a unique issue. This is the first switch I bought that has no issues at all and a great remote that doesn’t need to be precisely pointed like others I’ve tried. This switch is definitely worth the extra cash over the budget switches...

This is supposed to be a simple piece of hardware that prevents plugging and unplugging different devices to the few HDMI ports available on TV's or receivers. My experience is that they usually work well for few months, then start to cause strange problems, which are hard to troubleshoot. So far, so good. No complaints. Good picture quality and my soundbar recognizes the audio signal as Dolby Atmos (from my Xbox One). Occasionally, you have to turn off the switch to allow it to lose the handshake from one device and acquire a new one from another, but this is true from all the switches that I have owned through the years. In all, the function of an HDMI switch is highly dependent on the connected devices, the receiver and the TV, so, your mileage may vary. One last thing; turning it off after done viewing your source, may extend the life of these switches. Highly recommend it.

Great choice if you need to run multiple HDMI inputs into a single HDMI socket.I used this to hide multiple components in a different room for a clean new TV install. The TV has 3 x HDMI: 1 for the soundbar; 1 for multiple switched HDMI inputs (OTA tuner, Nintendo Switch, WiiU, Bluray player and Apple TV), and 1 for hooking up a laptop for gaming when required.I used an IR blaster that I had from a previous setup to ensure an old Logitech Harmony One remote can work with all components, and it’s a seamless transition from one input to another with this switch.The box hides easily in the recess behind the TV along with all the HDMI and power cables.

I am using this switch with an LG 4k oled, and an LG 4k bluray player, as well as game consoles and a PC. While the auto-switching works perfectly with my PS4, it does not seem to pick up the 4k player when it is turned on, however I am assuming it may be outputting a standby signal of some sort. However, other than this what I would consider minute problem, it is all positive! I obtained this device because my previous switch from Best Buy, the RocketFish 4K HDMI Switch, had minor background noise as well as an issue where it would occasionally stop outputting signal from the 4K player when it was outputting standard HDR10, but for some reason not Dolby Vision. Another issue I had with my previous device was getting black and white static when switching to my PS4 frequently since switching to my PS4 Pro.This switch has not had any video or audio hiccups or stuttering, and has picked up my PS4 the first time every time since setting up the device. I would recommend this switch to anyone looking for a low cost, yet adequate, HDMI switcher that does not want to use an external control system.
