Good concept, but made in China and C-ring is undersized!
Despite being a long time, avid A.C. fan, this my first purchase of any of their C-ring style briefs. First impression is that, while quality seems up to par and the waistband and mesh are what you'd expect, the product itself is somewhat... awkward to make use of. It's hard to tell from the censored product photos on Amazon, seeing as how the model has his hand in the way, but there are actually two components to the C-ring brief concept here. First, there is a small c-ring sized opening in the underwear itself. If you've ever purchased any of the "Show it Tech" line, the opening is about the same size as what you get there. Anyways, you first have to push your junk through that and then you have the option to also put on the attached c-ring. First, I will say that even without the c-ring, the opening in the briefs themselves actually adds quite a bit of left and "presentation" to the goods. It literally works like the "Show it Tech" line, but without a pouch on the other side, and everything hanging "up and out" as it were. I will say that it is actually more comfortable than most of the "Show It" line, and does not pinch nearly as much, so if you're looking to get some sort of push-up effect while going commando, this works. As far as the second part, which is the detachable c-ring, this is where I see some issues. Firstly, it is made from durable, thick rubber. You can stretch it, but not very much. The problem here is that unless you are hung like a gerbil, you will have trouble getting this thing around your goods. Personally, I just couldn't get the c-ring to fit, no matter how much I attempted to stretch it and open it up. While it's supposed to push your junk up and give you a better curb appeal, to me it feels like castrating a bull, i.e. where you put a tight band around the sac until it dries up and falls off. I'm quite sure it works for people packing a carrot and two cherry tomatoes, but if you're packing a cucumber and/or a pair of brussels sprouts, good luck not castrating yourself. Way, way too tight for anyone of average size, and for anyone even modestly above average, especially if you wear the 'Trophy Boy' line as I do, it's just not going to work. They need to either offer multiple ring sizes, or use a material that has a bit more elasticity, because this is too small and too tight for even the average male. Now, granted, the product is Made in China, which I consider an insult to loyal customers who expect a premium product for the premium price. Make it in Thailand all you want, but China? If I were a cynic, I would even argue that making it in China is why the c-ring doesn't fit the average male consumer, but I honestly think that's just poor design on the part of A.C., if anything. They brag "Designed in L.A." on the packaging, so it makes you wonder if everyone out that way is packing 4" or something, doesn't it?All this said, I will give the product 3-stars because you can detach the c-ring and because the opening in the briefs themselves actually provides plenty of lift and works as its own c-ring, without the hassle, pinch and outright pain of using the undersized rubber c-ring. For what I wanted, which was something to wear underneath running leggings and/or compression shorts, these work great. Just not thrilled with the country of origin, given the price, and wish the c-ring was actually usable by the average male.

Hot, Sexy, and Well Proportioned but C-Ring is a bit Uncomfortable because of the Material
So sexy and well proportioned! I just wish the c-ring attached was made of a more flexible material because extended wear can become a bit uncomfortable without adjusting every 30 minutes or so.
