In my humble opinion it's fair to ignore some of the other reviews out there. This shower head is available at plenty of high street retailers, but it's cheaper on Amazon, which is a big plus. There's solid data suggesting it can save you a few hundred pounds a year on water and energy bills, and I'm already starting to notice the difference after just a short time. The key benefit is the reduced water throughput, which means less strain on the heating element and overall lower water usage – it's a smart design that pays off quickly. Some reviewers seem to expect this product to magically fix underlying issues with their shower systems, like poor plumbing, but that's not realistic. It works best when your setup is already decent. I came across another shower head from the same brand that offers 5.5 liters per minute (lpm), but for the sleek aesthetic, I'm perfectly happy sticking with this one at 5.7 lpm. It looks great and performs well. I'm truly happy with this purchase. I bought it alongside some aerators for my taps and a "save a flush" device for the toilet, and my water bill has dropped substantially already. If only more people were aware of how much money gets wasted on inefficient fixtures! In terms of flow, my system is high pressure (you can test yours by putting your thumb under a running tap – if the water sprays everywhere with force, it's high pressure; if it just trickles down easily, it's low). My shower is electric in an old house where the plumbing probably needs some maintenance, so my previous head didn't deliver much pressure, and cranking up the heat would make it even worse. As expected, with this new shower head, I get much better pressure overall, the heating stays consistent, and adjusting the temperature doesn't reduce the flow. It's a fantastic investment for anyone looking to save money and improve their shower experience. Highly recommended!

I'm quite impressed with this thing. I appear to be using less water, evidenced by my water bills over the past months. It does not impact the showering performance very much, it's still a pleasant experience. Due to the lower flow rate, the hot water takes longer to come through when turning the shower on.

You'll need to get used to this as the flow is not as fast as most showers. But the water saving of 25% makes it worthwhile.

There’s a reason that this shower head reduces water flow. That is because the pressure is reduced. There’s no magic second way. At least it should be easy to descale as we live in a very hard water area.

Really like this. Works well for us. Easy to change the shower head from the old one to this. There are no spray settings, but that is not necessary.

The AIO "S" is not meant to replace the original AIO. Water flow has been reduced to ~5L/min from ~8L/min (at 1bar of mains pressure). I already have the RUA aurajet (~6-7L/min) --- the difference is noticeable. Even droplet coverage is maintained, but with less dispersion and force. However I'm keeping it: the primary objective here is to save water and energy. A typical low flow shower is slow and cold -- but the opposite has now been made possible with Methven's technology. For those looking for the full "luxury" experience -- the original AIO is still available.
