Sol de Janeiro Rio Deo Refillable Aluminum Free Deodorant

This cream deodorant has a subtle scent so it’s not overpowering-it keeps my under arms fresh for the majority of the day. I would definitely recommend this product. This product is a little pricey, but the delivery arrived well before the expected date.

I often struggle to find deodorant that works for me, this works very well and I can smell it throughout the day which I love. It has not irritated my skin at all which has been a problem with other brands. I find it lasts quite a while so for the price for me it is worth it.

It worked well; I bought it to take on holiday with me and even though the temperature hit 37 degrees, I still smelled fresh. I have knocked off one star for the following reasons, the texture is quite thick and when I got home and washed some of my clothes there was still a thick greasy residue under the arms of some of my clothing even after a wash. Maybe I used too much? It hasn't stained the clothing and I'm sure after another wash the residue will go. It hasn't lasted as long as my other deodorants, only about 4 weeks, whereas my other solid deodorants last much longer, which makes it quite expensive. I liked the idea of it being refillable; however, the only place I seem to be able to find the refill, is on the manufacturers website and when I go to pay I have to select my country with the only options of Canada or US, not much use if I'm in the UK. I really like the product but don't think I will purchase it again due to the residue issue and also the fact it doesn't last very long compared to other solid deodorants, making it quite expensive to use.

Wished I’d discovered this deodorant ages ago. It smells gorgeous (best smelling out of the range in my opinion), and it’s so gentle on the skin. Bit pricey but worth it!

This deodorant smells amazing, I love the scent of it and think it’s a really nice product. It didn’t cause any irritation and my underarms definitely felt hydrated and smooth, not drying at all. I used the entire stick before writing a review so feel it was a fair test - I found that it definitely didn’t mask the scent of sweat and once that came through it was noticeable and i would have to top up way more frequently whereas the usual deodorants I use I can do one use for a whole day. I found that if I used an unscented deo first in my usual brand, then this on top it worked perfectly fine but of course that defeats the object. The other downside is the product does ball up on the underarm throughout the day and then leaves little balls of product which drops onto clothes and surfaces if it is a loose item of clothing. Overall, I think it’s a nice smelling product and in cooler months/low activity days I think it is fine and I would use again, but when I am more active/it’s warm I think I’ll stick to what I know. I would repurchase but I’d be very mindful of when I wear/use the product as I wouldn’t want to risk smelling.

Smells amazing. The scent lasts all day even longer so that is great. Skin feels great after use. Doesn't last very long compared to other roll ons. How good it smells and how long that lasts on your skin makes up for how quick you use it up.

As someone with HS I'm unable to use most deodorants due to aluminum and other chemicals. I was desperate for a new brand because my brand in the usa isn't sold here. I'm grateful that not only did this work for me, it was quite nourishing for my skin too. No flare ups, no irritation and the scent is great and lasts. (I've always been a fan of the bum bum cream) It's spendy, I won't deny that. But for someone like me with an anti inflammatory issue, it was well worth it.

Es bastante caro, pero el olor que deja es buenísimo. A ver cuánto tiempo me aguanta, pero lo mas seguro es que volvería a comprarlo.
