These make my water taste like a chemical. I used these in my cup for 10-12 hours. The first couple hours is fine but the longer they set it makes my water taste weird. I’ve tried switching cups and thought that was it but no, I tried it on 3 different brands of cups and after my 12 hour shift still the same weird taste. And I have bought other stainless steel straws and did not have this issue

My husband and I have been making a conscious effort over the last year and a half to get rid of all the plastic in our kitchen. Well, we still have a few blender bottles and plastic cups only used for a cold liquids in a pinch, I really wanted to find a replacement for all of the plastic straws in our kitchen. Out of all the straws we have, we have more Stanley straws than any since we both use Stanley cups every single day for our water. I was pleased when I found this eight pack of metal straws that would fit in the 40 ounce cups for such a great price. I love that they came with a brush cleaner and how thick and durable they feel. I am very pleased with my purchase and happy that we have one less plastic product, especially in our kitchen, being used in our daily life!
