Always had complaints from my husband using our old hoe that broke. A good excuse to buy this one. Not one complaint. He is happy!! :)

Good sturdy handle and good blade.

I needed a better hoe than the normal garden hoes, because I am hoeing weeds and grasses on land that is neither watered nor cultivated. I chose the Truper because of my positive experience with other Truper tools, but I chose the ash handle to make it a little lighter than the fiberglass version. Hoeing requires a lot of movement and the lighter handle works fine for home use.When I took it out of the box, I carefully clamped it in my vise and sharpened it. It comes dipped in a clear coat which makes the rather dull edge even less useful. I purchased the Corona AC 8300 Sharpening Tool with the hoe, and I am surprised it works so well. It easily sharpened the hoe edge and I have been hoeing dry packed dirt, often with rooty grasses that quickly bend my older garden hoe. I expect many years of use from this hoe.

This hoe seems very sturdy. Nice, long wooden handle. Have not done much digging with it, but it has mixed up 8+ bags of Quikrete with ease.

Nice and sturdy. My son sharpened it. It works great if used as a home. Don't know what happens to all of our hoes! They are always broken. This one is for ME, and no one else. 😠

This hoe is a good hoe. Well built, I have used it a lot the past few months and it is well balanced and strong. I touched up the blade when I received it and it has held an edge very well

I liked the sturdiness and workmanship but did not like how short the blade is. Needs to be longer.
