Turns Out It’s Not Toothpaste for Body Acne
Okay, so full disclosure—I did not read the label as carefully as I should have. I thought this was some kind of fancy breakout cream; something you dab on shoulder pimples or maybe chest acne—sort of like toothpaste but with niacinamide and a sense of purpose. Imagine my surprise when I realized, mid-squeeze, that I was holding a tube designed to brighten areas of the body where the sun absolutely does not shine. At that point, I figured... might as well see what all the hype is about. To its credit, the cream is gentle. Like surprisingly gentle, especially given the intimate terrain it’s meant for. No burning, no tingling, no “why is it suddenly spicy” moment. It has a clean, mild scent, absorbs quickly, and doesn’t leave a sticky film. It does leave a light white cast if you go too heavy with it, but that’s manageable if you stick to night use. Also, pro tip: let it fully dry before putting on anything snug, unless you want your underwear to look like you sat on a powdered donut. After using it consistently at bedtime for a few weeks, I did notice some soft, gradual lightening in the target area—nothing drastic, but enough to make me raise an eyebrow in the mirror. It’s not bleaching in the scary chemical sense; more like politely asking your skin to dial things down a shade or two.The only reason I knocked off a star is the size of the bottle. It’s less of a “full body overhaul” and more of a “small spot diplomacy” kind of product. You’ll run out quickly if you try to go beyond, say, one cheek. So be strategic.Honestly, once I got past the initial confusion, it worked better than I expected. Just don’t brush your teeth with it.Ever used something completely wrong and discovered it actually worked better than what you meant to use?

No noticeable difference
I have not noticed any really visible improvement in the color of my skin. Maybe it takes longer to than I have been using it so far.

Unable to wear during the day, but seems to be making a difference
I remember being told when I was younger that my time in the sun would affect my skin, but I was young, thought I knew it all, and didn’t listen. Of course, now that I’m older, I’m experiencing discoloration and other signs of sun damage. I ordered QIDILA Advanced Dark Spot Remover to see if it could help fade my melasma and the sunspots on my face. The treatment comes in a pump bottle. It applies smoothly and evenly, and /absorbs well. There are no strong scents that I noticed. One significant thing to mention though is that it leaves a pale layer over the face, so it’s not something I’d want to wear during the day (even though it says to apply twice daily). This isn’t just a slight suggestion of white, it made my face as pale as the costume makeup I’ve used in the past when I dressed up as a ghost or vampire. I’m lighter complected, this would be even more noticeable on someone with darker skin. I didn’t experience any adverse skin reactions. The cream doesn’t even have a heavy or sticky feel on my skin.My only concern was that instructions say to apply it to a clean, dry face, but use of other products aren’t mentioned. Since I’m using this at night, I’d like to apply my nightly moisturizer/conditioner, but I don’t know if that would affect the way this product works. I read through the ingredients of this cream. It includes some that help moisturize (shea) as well as some nourishing plant extracts, so maybe additional products aren’t necessary. However, I’m not sure this has the ability to treat my skin in all the ways that my regular skin care items do. I’m currently using this alone, but I might either alternate this with my regular skin care regime or try putting on the moisturizer too.I’ve only been using it a few days, but I’m beginning to see some lightening of the melasma over my mouth and a slight fading to some of the sunspots on my face. I find this encouraging. I believe with continued use this product will help even my skin tone.****About me: Integrity is very important to me. Reviews I've posted will be from items I've had direct contact with. These are my honest opinions. I will not post a review for a product I have not had personal contact with.

Decent cream, no change yet, still have hope!
I've been using this cream for about a week and a half. I have hyperpigmentation due to sun damage on various spots on my face, but I've been focusing on one spot in the center of my cheek because it's the one that bothers me most; difficult to cover with foundation/concealer, and just very noticeable IMO. I have tried other products (Tretinoin, AHAs, hydroquinone) and nothing has helped to lighten this spot. This cream is quite thick; it does spread and absorb eventually but it takes a bit of effort. It leaves a bit of a white cast, similar to sunscreen; I would imagine those with a darker complexion would want to avoid using in the daytime as it might be visible or interfere with makeup (I've been using only at bedtime). So far, I have not detected any lightening of the dark spots on my face. It is very possible I just need to use it for a longer period of time, which I plan to do; I will try and update my review after a few more weeks. In the meantime, it does not cause any irritation (this is a big deal for me, as I have very sensitive skin), has no scent (I"m also super sensitive to smells) and is a fairly simple addition to my beauty routine, so I think it's worth a try if you've tried other products to no avail.
