On the plus side, this is a pretty comprehensive and keenly priced grammar workbook that will take you up to roughly intermediate level. In a market for Russian language materials that is not exactly crowded, both of those things are pretty strong recommendations.However, it's not all good news. For one thing, the exercises include a fair number of words that will be unfamiliar to many learners and which are not explained in the text; so you will find yourself reaching for a dictionary more than you might want to. Another snag is that the book is printed on extremely rough, poor quality paper which yellows quickly and works like blotting paper should a spilled drink get anywhere near it.So on balance you will most likely want to buy this book if you want to take your Russian beyond a basic level, but it does come with a couple of reservations.
