Awesome picks for many reasons!
I LOVE these picks! For many reasons they have rendered utterly obsolete my entire collection of several hundred picks, accumulated in a quest to find the ideal pick for my playing and technique. To wit: •The slightly smaller size is ideal for me •The shape conduces to holding the pick properly •The pointed tip gives greater precision •The beveled edge enhances attack •The texture and higher thickness in the upper part of the pick produce excellent grip •The thickness of the .70mm is perfect for me, with a flex more like the .73mm I have always preferred •The durability is amazing (especially for pointed picks, which often blunt quickly), many times more than ordinary nylon picks, and 2-3 times more than Dunlop’s vaunted Ultex (but with better tone) •The price is very reasonable, making it easier to use them only at the peak of their powers and not feel as if they have to be worn to a nub before discarding them to get one’s money’s worth The only nit I would (pun alert!) pick (pun delivered!), and it is indeed a tiny thing, is that often the picks have a bit of flash from the tree on which they were formed still attached, necessitating some filing to smooth down and avoid discomfort. That is a small price to pay for such an excellent pick, however.

Best Pick I've Ever Used
I’ve used pretty much every pick out there (Tortex, Jazz III, Flow, Ultex, etc.), and these are honestly a step above. The grip is unreal - they don’t get slick when my hands sweat, and they still feel solid after hours of hard playing. Zero wear on the tip so far. Easily my new favorite. Weirdly enough, they feel so nice in the hand that just picking one up makes me want to grab my guitar and play.

Great pick, but the molding process could be improved.
The picks are great! Seems the molding process leaves nib on the pick after part off. Nothing that a fingernail file can’t take care of, but maybe take a look at the molding process to improve that.

Great pick ! Nice for small hands and short fingers.
I think I may have found my favorite pick! I have small hands and it suits me perfect. The surface grip is nice and it still allows you to play with the shoulder of the pick and get a good sound.

Great pick, VERY pricey
These picks are really great, the grip, durability weight and feel is perfect. On the other hand, they cost $11, making each pick $1.10 which if you ask me is way to much.

Finally! The perfect pick (for me)
I have played literally hundreds of picks. I'm always looking for the right combination grip, tone, feel, thickness, and accuracy. Others I've used did well in some of these aspects, but not all. Here's why this pick is perfect: The multi-pattern texture makes it stay in place in my fingers. It's 1.5mm thick where you hold it, but .99mm at the tip and edges, so it's easy to hold, but still a bit flexible. The pointy tip is precise, but it has tons of feel. And the tone is very good. Bright but not harsh. I thought at first it would be too small (not quite as small as a jazz 3, but smaller than standard) for me to hang on to, but because it's so easy to hold, I could relax my fingers more. Once I realized I didn't have to grip the hell out of it to keep in in place, BOOM! I've never had a pick improve my accuracy and overall playing like this one. I know I'm gushing, but I've been on a pick quest for ages, and have finally found it.

i accidently bought this xl thinking it would be a normal pick. i joked around with it and put to side, today i picked it back up as it was first in pile and i realized there was much more surface area to grab the pick and i was able to break through a big speed barier i have been fighting for years.

Cheap, unique, what Ernie Ball Prodigy marketing photos pretends to be.
Super sharp, looks exactly like the photos. This is what I imagine Ernie Ball Prodigy picks would be like based on the marketing photos. It is exactly as advertised, and I find the pick a lot easier to hold than Primetone Jazz 3 XL. I do love the color, the pink is unique (I finally found a pink Ibanez AZ2402, it's almost the same color, having matching pick makes me happy). Price is reasonable, significantly cheaper than any other boutique picks out there, and better than some. 1.5mm thickness is my go to for another pick, and it feels correct (some manufacturer's 1.5mm feels too thick or thin). I really like the sharpness, it's not for every day use, but exactly as advertised. I don't agree with some of the other reviews saying how amazing this pick is though. It's alright, I haven't used it enough to comment on durability, but the tone is alright with some (but not a lot) of pick noise. I still like primetone (smooth), wegen, bluechip, redbear casein a lot better, but I do like this pick a lot more than ibanez kleido, some ultex like master8/dunlop jazz 3 XL, and about the same as acrylic picks like gravity or v-pick (my preference, not tone). Photo shows a couple of similar picks for size/dimension/sharpness reference (this precision pick in the center): 1st row - Dunlop Jazz 3 XL Primetone, Dunlop Jazz 3 Petrucci Primetone, Ibanez Paul Gilbert (teardrop); 2nd row - Ernie Ball Prodigy Standard, Dan's Precision Pick, Master 8 Teardrop; 3rd row: Ibanez Kaleido (351), Gravity Sunrise (big mini), Gravity 003. This precision pick is definitely the sharpest with it's bevel. I am glad I bought it, it's unique even in my giant pick collection, and I do use it periodically, but it is not my go-to for serious playing.

Great and all but a bit too big for my taste since I’m used to jazz III. Also, I wish they had more grip but other than that they’re fine.

Very impressed with these picks. Been looking for a new pick for a while because...you know...saw these and decided to give them a shot. Similar in size and shape to the big jazz III picks, a little less round at the sides. In terms of feel, very grippy which is ideal. Usually with sharp picks I find them to be either a little too "chiruppy" or very grabby when moving between strings, with these I didn't have any of those issues. Percussive and still quite warm you can pick single note runs or get your funk/folk on without too much trouble. The bevel is just about perfect too keeping things very smooth between strings. TL/DR version. If you want to pick fast and clean and still have a good tone you should really give these a try. I think I'll be trying more picks from Dan's but these will be getting ordered again for sure.

Me encantan estas púas. Las uso para laúd y bandurria y se deslizan como ninguna otra, aumentando la rapidez y eliminando el ruido que otras púas generan al golpear las cuerdas

Dan is a great guy, very responsive and very informative. High quality picks. These pink 1.5 mm picks are great and rip through the strings. I thought I’d try them out. Been playing 45 years and mostly hair metal. Highly recommend the tapered picks. My go to is the tapered .80 mm that goes from 1.5 to .80 mm . I used the tortex green .88 all those years. These .80 tapered are insane picks. They are not floppy or bendy like you’d think. They are pretty ridged and glide effortlessly through the stings. I’ve been tearing these picks up and abusing the crap out of them, I’m still using my first one and there’s no damage or wear. I’m 56 now, bought 200 of these picks and will probably have to will 199 of them to the grandkids, try them, you won’t be disappointed.
