Being able to name the parts of the body is so important for kids and their parents. While my toddler has learned a lot from pictures and images, having an actual 3D model is a much more fun and appealing way to learn about body and how it functions. I don’t feel like model is the same quality as one’s I’ve seen in medical offices, but it’s more than enough for teaching at home. And it’s not scary looking, which can be intimidating for younger kids.

This human body model is super helpful for my studies! Even though it’s small, it includes all the organs with impressive detail. The craftsmanship is great, and it really helped me understand the structure better.

I ordered this for my 8 year old daughter who has big plans to become a surgeon. She's watched real life surgeries on YouTube for years. As well as educational programs that teach children how different parts of the body work. This is a fantastic, basic model to help her learn and explore, hands on, how our organs are arranged in our bodies. She pretends to "operate" on this model, while naming the organs she's working with. I love that products like this are widely available to motivate and inspire curious minds. This would be a great educational tool for teaching human anatomy in a classroom or for homeschooling instruction. I can see this model working well in a physician's office, as well, when explaining a procedure to a patient.This model is well made and easy to use. The pieces fit well together and it is easy to disassemble and reassemble each part.

I am also worried that I am too klutzy to put it back together the correct way. The torso itself is great, the photos to take it apart and put it together are ok but the text is not very good and sometimes downright confusing. I am sure he will not have any trouble with it. he always wanted one but the good ones cost over $70 and that was too much. This model is very nicely priced at just $23, a great value for such an awesome teaching tool.My rating is 4.5 stars (minus 1/2 for text troubles) rounded up to 5.

This anatomical model measures the full 11 inches and is much more of a serious educational piece than a toy/puzzle. It's very durably crafted of thick, solid plastic with solid, firm vinyl or rubber organs. The organs have embedded pins that attach into holes within the structure. They all fit very securely and tightly. Be careful when removing the skull, because the brain isn't attached and will fall out. The coloring is professional and everything is in proper proportion. It comes in a plain cardboard box with a couple of sheets showing how to remove all the parts and displaying each organ with it's name. This is a great tool for learning and I highly recommend it for classes and personal study at home.
