Good tool
Good pipe threader for the price. Was using it to install some RMC conduit and it did a great job. My only complaint is that the die pushes out of the handle somewhat too easily, but it's not a showstopper. The teeth did not seem to wear at all after a dozen uses, so the material is of decent quality. It is very, very important to use LOTS of oil. Put some in an oil can and squirt it every half a turn or so. Otherwise, the cutting action will not be smooth and you will get galling, poor results, and the tool will become dull quickly. This is true of an expensive threader, too.

Works great good price
I know it isn't Klein or craftsman or snap on but this works perfectly when you need to rethread your pipes

Nice little threader.
So far, so good. I used this to run a 1-1/4” black iron natural gas line for a generator. It definitely took some muscle to get 1” of threads. Make sure you have a pipe vice or a tri-stand and use threading oil. I had to go back and forth a bit, wile making sure the filings weren’t getting trapped in the teeth.

Works great
It takes a bit of work, and there is a learning curve. After you get the technique down, customizing my pipe layout becomes a nice option. The money savings of working off a 10' stick of pipe vs buying all the smaller pieces is also a significant bonus. It makes the tool pay for itself.

All you need for the occasional use
If you're a professional plumber, buy Rigid products. For the homeowner with only the occasional need to use pipe dies, this product does just fine. I needed to thread 1 1/4" diameter galvanized pipe - about 10 different threaded ends, and this product performed well. Given the large diameter pipe, each thread took about 5-10 minutes to make. Just take your time, use plenty of cutting oil and reverse your cut when the tool starts to bind up to clear the metal shavings. I'll be trying to thread 3/4" pipe this weekend and will update my review. I suspect that threading the 3/4" pipe will go a little faster.

Best price for a tool that works
I only tested the 1/2" die and it worked great. You can't beat the price. The number 1 brand is rigid and you can't afford them.

Good price & easy to use!
This is so helpful and was super easy to use! Game changer for me. I am not a plumber, but sometimes I do minor plumbing jobs. Purchasing an electric pipe threader wouldn’t make much sense because I wouldn’t use it enough, so for the price this is a good buy for anyone that might need to use it from time to time. I would recommend buying a pipe vise or something to clamp the pipe. That is probably common sense, but incase you might not know, now you do.
