I have mild to moderate hearing loss in both ears. Beltone gave me a hearing test, then went to their prices...I told them I wanted the basic, they said I needed next to top of the line for my hearing problem. Top of the line is 9900.00 but they were willing to give a 25% discount...Really??? But they offer financing, how ironic..... I did some research and found this little gem by Britzgo. I got 2 for $129.00 with a full money return guarantee. Small family owned business...at first I was picking up noises, that sounded like rain outside. I never had any kind of hearing device before. It took about a day and a half to get used to the amplifier and noise I never heard before. This is a pretty decent product and I didn't have to go into hock to hear better. I am very happy with the product and I really like the color. I am an older person, so I am not vain about it being behind my ear. They do have noise cancelling devices, I think for the same price, but I went with this one. I DO hear much, much better.

This $99 pair of Britzgo1222 rechargeable hearing amps has amazed me with its quality. In order to save thousands by NOT purchasing high-end-overpriced hearing 'aids' I've spent several hundred on overpriced $20-$1000 hearing 'amps'. All have either been dumped, because return shipping costs are more than the purchase price, or returned free. All those former products were unacceptable due to sound quality or they let in too much ambient noise, i.e. a slight breeze which sounded like Hurricane Florence, drowning out voices. Or the voices I was able to hear were extremely tinny. Not so far with these Britzgo. Voice reproduction is excellent. No breezy noise. I have moderate to extreme hearing loss, depending on which ear is involved and by fine tuning this product I can equalize the speech. Will see how well these last overtime but so far highly recommend. If they holdup I'll revise to ten stars. Update: I've now used these for almost a month. 10 stars!

I'm 71 year old retired scientist/Vietnam vet. I don't know if my hearing problems are due to my age or my service, but I now have problems understanding conversations. I think my hearing loss is typical, so an inexpensive unit that is designed to accentuate the higher frequencies ought to do the trick. Initially, when I turned them on everything appeared to be louder (a good thing). But as I tried to get accustomed to them I did some tests while watching TV and listening to my wife and I found that even though things are louder, they are no more intelligible using the amplifier than when not using it. They also give a quality to the sound, kind of like a cheap radio. They might work for others, but they didn't work for me. I ended up returning them.

I know this just arrived yesterday, but it's made a world of difference. I have had significant hearing loss due to a genetic predisposition, but had the damage in one ear corrected back when insurance was good. Of course, that's the ear that I developed an infection in and wound up with a ruptured eardrum a week ago. I had an old listen up device, which allowed me to heat, but drove me crazy due to the lack of noise filtering. I can wear this without really noticing, and because it's rechargeable I won't spend a fortune in batteries. Hopefully my ear will heal in a few weeks, but in the meantime I feel so much better being able to hear what i want to hear.

The only good news I have for this product is that the customer service is outstanding - after this item failed after a week, they graciously, quickly, and without hesitation replaced the amplifier. After two replacements, the third one failed as well, and I have not contacted them again. It’s so sad, because for the few days that it worked, the joy my sister experienced was thrilling. But it’s like snatching candy from a child - showing her how wonderful it is to hear, and then plunging her back to silence is so sad. Hearing aids that probably work are thousands of dollars, which is out of reach for her, and we had such high hopes for this amplifier. Bottom line: if you get one that works, you’ll love it. If it fails on you, you’ll work with extremely nice people.

Bought this last May for my 92 year old mother. Works like a charm, she loves it. Great deal for the price. When it stopped working, less than a year since purchasing, I contacted the company to see if it could be the battery and to get their advice. I got an almost immediate email with a return postage label and a note that apologized and said her replacement was on the way! Who does that? I was surprised and grateful for their product support and absolutely no hassle replacement. Very happy with the amplifier and the top notch customer service. Definitely worth the price.

Received mine 24 hours ago, fantastic wore it golfing this morning it was gr8 had a brisk wind and no wind noise I am 83 and have had several hearing aids always trouble adjusting volume, loud enough to hear talk , back ground noise to loud . Must the britzgo is simple to use and fit now longevity time will. More than pleased thank you !!

decent for use in quiet places, but in restaurants for example, i could not use the britzgo as it amplified all the clattering cutlery and dishes everywhere. i could not suppress these frequencies which rendered the Britzgo useless in this environment.

How does product for six months worked very well liked him but they quit working both of them neither one work at all. Don’t know what to do only one month return policyr

One didn't work right out of the box (after charging) the other one only worked a couple of hours. These things are junk don't waste your money.
