Purchased the 2TB Variant, and the performance is great. I tried using it directly on board and great speeds (since Gen4). At the moment I am using it with Jeyi enclosure for using as ProRes video files usage. It's performance is great.

It’s suitable for ROG ally. Games work better because of the higher throughput. Would definitely recommend this size. Get a thermal cooling kit for the ssd and it will make sure your temps are normal operating range.

Reliably fast

i installed this in Surface Pro 8 laptop as an upgrade from 512 to 1 tb SSD storage and it works very well. Saves a lot of money as the Microsoft SSD costs nearly double.

maan it is small.. my Asus Artpro 13 has one bad thing and that is "only one slot for storage... so if I need to add space with NTFS so that you can use it for dropbox on an external box... and you need a good read speed this is the go to thing. Asus customer care is pathetic so you are on your own...

Run a little hot(almost 75C) under full load without thermal pad ... under normal load runs at just 35-40 C... Used a thermal pad and full load temps came down to around 45-48C... Good SSD..So far. good speeds..

AMAZING m.2, I used it to upgrade my Legion Go storage, from 512 OEM one to 2tb, with a 2230 to 2242 converter, working fine without any inconvenience. I cloned original m.2 by installing these at my desktop motherboard, all information was cloned super fast. AAA games load and run incredibly fast, I find 2tb capacity ideal for my common usage, being 1tb not enough but 4tb too much, so I'm happy with my choice. Installing it is super easy on it, though you might look for a couple youtube videos for the whole process. Another thing that amazes me is it's temperature, ever since upgrading, my LeGo feels colder, which is always a pleasant thing, it should contribute for better device health and long lasting durability. I used a 2230 copper heatsink, bought here at Amazon too + converted mentioned before.

Using it with for the Extra Storage and works efficiently with SSD enclosure with 10GBPS speed where R/W speeds are absolutely fine and around 850Mbps which is average maximum for the 10Gbps version of the SSD enclosures. Pros: Works with encryption with mac without issue Formatted according to OS related usage Trustable for the portable storage Cons: Heating Much (Caution: do not use without heatsink.) Note: yet to test with 40Gbps SSD Enclosure but surely it will work well.
