I like the color and function of my 15 oz thermos. I am able to gently turn counter clocks wise while gently raising it up to open. The twist right and downward to close. I do see how people had a hard time with it if you’re not paying attention and doing it fast and not right. So I understand but it’s easy now that I get it. As for keeping hot, it’s medium My last bru mate lasted a long time even dropping it. I just wanted a smaller one. I like how well made it is leak proof truly, is very important for me. And like the rubber grip on bottom pretty color options feel important too

This is the absolute best coffee mug I have owned. People do say it doesn't fit into their cup holder in the car but my cup holders in my VW have a passthrough in between the cup holders so this handle does fit perfectly. The mug keeps the coffee hot and the lock is great. never a leak! I have ordered another one and I have 4 more in my wishlist (purely for colors) Love it! I got the dusty purple and just ordered the mocha.

I have been very happy with this mug. The design and execution appear to be spot on. It keeps my coffee warm and does not leak. It is the right size for me and allows me to travel amongst multiple buildings without worry of leaking. I've been using it for about two weeks now.

BroMates are amazing! Think I have almost every type really like the locking lids. You can pretty much throw it anywhere and not have to worry about it spilling. Definitely recommend!

This cup works great! Keeps my coffee hot & no leaks. My only complaint is that the instructions on how to remove the lid were on the inside of the cup! It was hard to remove the lid the first time but became easier after a few repetitions. The straight sides allow it to fit closely to the side of my single cup coffee maker, so no messes there.

Love the design, definitely leak proof and the magnetic closure is great. However it does not keep my coffee hot. I usually prepare my coffee before leaving for work and don’t drink it until I get to work because I like to eat breakfast first, and my coffee is lukewarm by the time I get to work 1.5 hours later and I have to reheat it. Other than that that it’s a great to go coffee mug. Lid is hard to open but it keeps everything leakproof so that’s fine with me!

Overall, I like it because it’s very secure and truly leak- and spill-proof—but I wouldn’t buy another one at full price. It’s a decent mug, and I love that it comes in a variety of cute colors and patterns, but it’s not the best I’ve used. Pros The Octa-Lid technology is extremely secure, and I appreciate that the flip-top piece where you drink from has its own locking mechanism to prevent it from opening. You truly don’t need to worry about leaks or spills if the lid is on correctly and locked. I’ve literally tossed this into my purse right after pouring my coffee, and not once have I had an issue. Cons Poor heat retention: It only keeps my coffee hot for about the first hour, even after preheating the mug with boiling water and ensuring the lid is tightly sealed. I don’t open and close the lid often enough for that to explain the heat loss. Even when I heat my creamer beforehand, it doesn’t make much difference—the coffee is only really hot for the first hour, warm-ish by the second, and barely warm by the third. If you want a mug that keeps your coffee piping hot for hours, this isn’t it. It’s better for casual drinkers who finish their coffee fairly quickly or have easy access to a microwave to reheat. Doesn’t fit car cup holders: This isn’t a big deal for me since I carry a purse, but if you rely on your car’s cup holders, this mug likely won’t fit unless you have adjustable ones or an adapter. I usually drink from coffee mugs with the lid off, but this mug is extremely comfortable to drink with the lid off, along with the handle. Took me a while to get used to how to remove the lid completely though. 15oz is a perfect size too. If Brumate makes mugs with a ceramic coating like Stokke (I only love this as my mug doesn’t smell, ever) - it would be the best mug ever.

Great insulated mug, bought for my young person who has complex needs, dyspraxia/joint hypermobility to help avoid spilling hot drinks. Keeps hot drinks warm for quite a considerable time over your normal everyday type of mug. It is leakproof which is great as my young person is not steady with his mobility which alleviates his anxiety as he is carrying it through. You can choose many designs, love the feel of it and it is dishwasher safe and easy to clean.

Great product, leakproof as it says. Magnet opening spout. And multi-location spout positioning. Only thing, it doesnt fit in my car cup holder... Great quality, we have several of the Brumate range. Definitely recommend!

Si solo eres de tomar una taza al día de café o te, es ideal. Me gustó mucho que las bebidas calientes duran bastante tiempo, aún no lo he usado con bridas frías pero no dudo q igual las conserve. No se derrama!!! Sin duda volvería a comprar de otro color!

Mug has good insulation and is really durable. My only concern is that the lid is a bit difficult to close and open, it requires a bit of force and lacks good grip points. If you are a person with motor skill issues, using this mug would be quite a task
