What does Irish Cream actually taste like? (I'm not familiar with the drink for which it's named)

The real Irish Cream drink has a very nice taste (whiskey, chocolate and cream). I didn't think the Skinny Syrup version tasted anything like that... just sweet. I gave mine away.

Besides coffee what can i use the Irish Cream for?

If your looking for it to be a substitute for Baily's Irish Cream, flavor wise, it's not going to happen. Most of the other products are very good subs for the flavors listed, just not Baileys! It does provide a sweet version of a single malt Irish Whiskey.
