LG - Exalt 4G LTE VN220 with 8GB Memory Cell Phone - Silver (Verizon) (Renewed)

Top-Choice-Imports is who we purchased our LG Exalt. We have had this model for years and love it. But it was dropped and broke. So, we took a chance and ordered this from Amazon. The phone is in excellent condition and more importantly it works. Everything transferred over. We are Seniors and appreciate getting a phone and not needing to re-learn. I bought this phone when my original LG Exalt LTE stopped working all of the sudden. ( I tried to get LG to replace it since it was only 10 months old but that is a separate nightmare for another time) This is the newer version of that phone so it should be a step up, right? Not so. First off, whose bright idea was it to forego the front screen? It's so annoying to have to open the phone to see who is calling or what time it is. Second, why do the notifications not pop up? When I get a text, it does not pop up on my screen, I have to go to messages and then open it. (Don't even get me started on the "conversations" mode of the text messaging. It's the only option on this phone.) Next, why is there no option for reminders of notifications? It beeps one time for message and if I'm not around or don't hear it, it will not beep again. I keep missing texts for hours at a time because I don't think to check it. Maybe some ppl don't need this but it should be an option available at the very least. Another thing that is basically nothing but why is their no option for a banner? Just a little something that I miss. Upsides, it is on the 4g network so texts send much quicker. It also has a much nicer camera.

I purchased this Verizon flip phone to replace my old one. I was lucky to havefound it. Life is good, I took it to Verizon store and he transferred all my datain 5 minutes.

This phone only works sometimes. It keeps losing service.When I returned it they gave partial refund and blamed me for the whatever wasn't working

When my friend calls me on this phone that I bought him, the sound quality is really good. The phone is a great value. The phone receives texts just fine. It's hard to send texts, though, because typing it out is slow. That's normal for a flip phone.

SIM was supposed to be "pre-installed". It was not.
