Fishy Food :)
The fish seemed to love it and it lasted a lot longer than expected!

Made in the USA with decent ingredients
I haven't actually used this feeder block yet, but I will come back and update this review after using. Today I am giving 5 stars because of the quality and condition of the Zoo Med Original Banquet Feeding Block. The block arrived in a neatly sealed package that keeps the product fresh until opened and used. On the back is a stamp with a distant expiration date. Also on the back is the US address where the food block is made and the listing of ingredients. The contents are pretty good and my fish should do well for the time they are eating it. I will watch to see how well my fish do and how clear or cloudy the water is.

Miracle Food
I threw this in the tank for my two fish and left for 12 days. When I came back they were still alive and had babies. I was pretty sure both my fish were males so this might be some miracle food. Will you have the same results, that is hard to say. At the very least it will keep your fish alive.

A Pleasant Surprise
I decided to give this a try after having a good experience using the Pleco Banquet Blocks. I was surprised when I checked 24 hours later after putting it in the tank to see it was almost gone! I thought it must have just dissolved or fell apart but after looking a bit closer it became apparent my 20+ year old, one eyed, foot long, common pleco had pigged out on it overnight. It also seemed like a snail favorite as I think almost every rabbit snail and mystery snail in my tank was attempting to eat off it at once. It seems like my pleco and snails love it but I didn't notice anything else eating off of it. I'm not sure it's easily eaten by tetras and such as it stay fairly hard. Overall I would recommend this as a treat every once in a while but I wouldn't use it as your go to fish food.

Great Vacation Block Feeder
My guppy’s & Gouramis were just fine when I came back after being gone for a week, my gouramis colors were actually brighter, the tank was a little dirtier than usual but if you make sure to feed your fish a little extra before you leave this in your tank it works like it should. When I came back it wasn’t completely dissolved, I tried using one of those timer automatic feeders two years ago and I would rather use these blocks instead they make way less of a mess, and it’s more cost effective.

Do not recommend
Returned from a trip to find this block uneaten and disgusting, I scooped it out and vacuumed the substrate and the SMELL. Even the snails weren't interested. One of my fish is now acting sick. Do not recommend

Fish food
Works as advertised. Does not cloud the tank very much. Works perfect for week long or more vacations
