Philips 265850 36-watt PL-L TUV Germicidal with 4-Pin Base Light Bulb

Got it ahead of promised delivery time ; fits write in and works well (have to wait like 1 min for it to get going ) ; I purchased an off brand lamp earlier that was not a good fit (too snug) and never worked . This Phillips is the same brand as the original lamp that came with the Honeywell unit . Anyhow , greatly recommend for great value for the right product .

These bulbs fit directly in the Honeywell RUVLAMP 18w system. The longer 36w bulbs work without issue. These Phillips bulbs did not have any "keying" issues like I've read on other bulb reviews. Just make sure your vent has enough space for the extra few inches of bulb length without hitting the other side. Many owners of the Honeywell RUVLAMP 18w, may not be aware that there is a safety feature in them. Unsnapping the snap base, putting the new bulb in, will not turn on the light! You must physically unplug the cord from the wall, install the light bulb, then plug it back in. I've seen a few reviews where they think these bulbs won't light up. Just a safety feature. I've bought 2 bulbs, and both won't light up, unless you physically unplug the cord first.

First off I’m very pleased with this and I intend to buy them again next year when I need to replace. They appear to be identical to the bulbs in my Honeywell UV treatment system for a fraction of the price The only reason I knocked off a star is the ones I got one of them came without bubble wrap on the inside so when I opened it up I had to be careful not to touch it since that can cause the bulb to fail prematurely. So I had to wipe it down since I figured it was also possible it was touched during packing Not sure if I got a return, the bubble wrap was just missing, or what but I feel better getting the bulb wrapped in plastic with bubble wrap so I know for sure nobody has touched it with bare hands

my unit is mounted directly on the air handler, and it has 2 tubes, one in the middle of the "A" evaporator coil and the other downstream of it where the drain pan is located. the unit is from ultraovation. com and they sell a full line of all types of a/c units. mine has a replaceable quarter sized battery and when u change the tubes, u take it out and put and put in a new battery, and when u do this, it resets the unit to "sound a Chirp" when the tubes need to be changed. it maybe a pain to listen to, but its time! otherwise, u will just on living and not know it. it cost me about 300 for the unit and 300 to have it installed yrs ago. I also have a Honeywell Air Cleaner, it works great, its 20x24, cost about 300 and 300 to install it, it needs to be cleaned by someone every 6 months, and we don't smoke or have any pets, and its loaded with what looks like mud when you rinse the 2 grids(cells) off with water. its amazing how much it gets! this unit makes a chirping sound too, it sounds like morse code, SOS !!! over and over until u do something about it. im going to contract it out for service, im getting too old to go up there, and the a/c man has a special pressure washer for cleaning the coil upstairs and outside without taking it all apart! GET A GOOD A/C MAN! have him make sure ur unit is fully charged, if it not, it can cost u a fortune!! insulation is cheap too!! have it blow in !! my bill went down 33% ! my average bill is $120 in tampa, florida and I keep the house at 70 degrees all year round !! Ah! its so nice to come home and open that door !! feel that !! Ahh!!

Exactly what I needed for our a/c unit. A good price and well packaged.

It was delivered damaged. The glass wasn’t broken but the base on the light was loose. Has to be returned.

5 Star product, 0 Star on packing!!! The Lights arrived in a box that showed signs of having been very poorly handled, crushed both length wise and width wise. The packing was not handled well at all. Large bubble bag packing was placed length wise end to end in only one side of the box, no bubble packing was placed around the other sides of the glass bulbs. The four, 15 & 1/2 inch long glass tubed lamps were each in a manufactures light car-broad box, the type used for display on a merchant shelve but not designed for shipping in this manner. No other protection was placed in the package. This package was dropped off at my door. If I had the chance to see first I would have refused it. Seeing the state of this box, I expected to find cracks at the base of a bulb which would cause it to burnout, so I carefully checked each one and test powered all of the bulbs before installing them, they all worked and are working fine so far. Sorry no photos this time.
