It is exceptionally rare that I write a review, however, this board is remarkably impressive! Look no further, this beauty will last your little ones all through the years. I was late to the game in ordering and although it was scheduled for delivery after the second day of school, it was at my door before we even started!It arrives in a beautiful little box that holds the board perfectly so it doesn't get sloshed around during shipping AND that my child can color. I kept the box for easy storage, thin and easy to put away until next year.The colors are bright and beautiful and the frame of rulers is beyond sweet. I used chalk markers and they wiped off beautifully, leaving no trace of the letters.This board is so well made!In today's world, where so many items are meant for short-term use, I love buying a product that is quality crafted and this is it! Thank you, thank you! We just started 4K so this board will be a part of our back to school photos for many years to come! I'm delighted to have purchased from this seller!

LOVE everything about this sign! I wanted something without all the colorful writing. This reminds me more of a traditional chalkboard. Not that I think there’s anything wrong with colorful ones, it’s just my personal preference. I contacted the seller to ask about specific chalk markers to use. She responded quickly with a very detailed and thorough answer. I was worried about “ghosting” which is what happens with some chalk markers on boards that aren’t “true” chalk boards and only painted porous surfaces. There was NO issue with this board with that. Wipes clean with just water! (I erased after 24 hours and seller recommended not leaving on more than 48 hours) I know it might seem a little pricey but you get what you pay for! This is definitely worth the price. Especially considering you will use it twice a year (First & Last day) for multiple years. I have two children and I know with the quality of this craftsmanship it will definitely last thru MANY years of school! Thank you to the seller for making such a quality product!

This sign is very cute and looks exactly as pictured. I love that it can be used for both a first and last day photo. It is very sturdy and solid with strong backing. I “seasoned” the board first and then used colorful chalk markers which looked great. I did have to “erase” with a wet paper towel, and it did leave a darker smear on the board that I still notice. Hopefully it will disappear with time and use. Great product, and I like that it supports an American mama in her small business. It is a bit more expensive than other more flimsy “chalkboards” available on Amazon but well worth it to be reused for years!

I have owned many different types of school boards over the years but find that after I use them once they are ruined. I initially loved the ruler frame for this board but was blown away by the quality of it. The board itself is very sturdy. The chalkboard is easy to write on and the marker actually came off without leaving a shadow. I used the Arteza chalk markers and made sure to wipe off the chalk within 24 hours of writing on it. A wet rag and dry paper towel left the board looking brand new. This is definitely a school board that can last for many years. I would definitely recommend it.

My kids love updating their board every year, and this one is really well made! Easy to wash of chalk markers and rewrite as needed. I accidentally forgot to wash off the words last spring and left last school year's words for months. But I was still able to wash it off with water for this fall.
