This set of ten bamboo straws is wonderful, but I did knock off one star as one straw arrived with a split in the end. The wall of the bamboo straw, after being bored out, was too skinny and ended up splitting at some point either during manufacture or during transport. So, my set only has nine usable straws.Being a natural product, each straw varies in width while being the same length. This means you have a perfect selection depending on your drink of choice. The wider straws are perfect for shakes and smoothies, while the skinny ones are perfect for smooth, chilled drinks. Be sure to wash the straws prior to first use as they will have some manufacturing dust in them. If you drink something colourful, such as a blueberry smoothie, it will dye the inside and ends of the bamboo slightly, especially if it isn't washed immediately. Not a big deal to me, as it's to be expected with unsealed, natural bamboo. The length of these straws works well for your average cup/glass, but if you grab something like a Tropical Cafe smoothie, it won't be quite long enough for such a tall container. So, I would love to see a similar set sold with two or three different lengths of straws. I did purchase a couple of extra carrying cases so I can carry just one or two straws at a time while leaving the rest in my car. As you can imagine, carrying ten straws around in a small purse tends to take up a bit too much space.Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase but have a slight disappointment in the one broken straw as I really dislike uneven numbers. Unless it's five. I can do five because it's half of ten. But nine? Eye twitch galore.

Had my reservations about using them initially but they grew on me pretty fast. My toddler loves them and cant wait to reach for them whenever she wants to drink or steal gulps from other people's drinks. They are durable and unless you really bite hard on them (not sure why you'd want to do this), they'll last for a long time. The included cleaning brush makes it very convenient to clean them. If you like to drink out of very tall containers you might want to check the length before purchasing. For my household, the length has been perfect for all our needs.

They take some getting used to but I carry them everywhere and feel good about my small part. I hate drinking from bar glasses so the straws help.

It's time to start weaning ourselves from throw-away plastic straws. Here's an opportunity to make a difference in the environment. Bamboo is sustainable and biodegradable, whereas plastic straws are a nightmare in both production and in the waste stream.At first, the only reason I bought these bamboo straws is because of the eco-friendly materials, and I didn't have high expectations for the product quality itself. But after receiving these, I was pleasantly surprised with how good quality they are. The straws are a little larger than what I'm used to, but it's no problems with me. Still enjoy my favourite beverages with these bamboo straws. Overall I love these bamboo straws after about a week of use.

Great idea but I didn’t like them bc I could taste them. If that doesn’t bother you then I’d recommend them. I also agree with the person who said that the cleaning brush should be long enough to clean them with one swipe instead of having to clean from both ends. But it’s nice they include a brush!!

I'm so in love with these bamboo straws. I drink tea with lemon every morning - a LOT of lemon, I'm a touch obsessed - and I've been repeatedly warned of the effects that can have on my teeth. Originally I bought a stainless steel straw; not really great for hot beverages, since it heats up pretty quick. So I went back and bought these bamboo straws and I love them! I can drink hot beverages without melting my lips off, and I don't have to worry about killing off my enamel.Besides the regular rating, I'm going to give them a "green" 5 stars rating, based on social and environmental impact.

I absolutely love these bamboo straws! They're great quality but some of them are a little wider than your average straw so if you have cups that have small straw hole openings don't expect all of them to fit. I myself actually love that the straws come with different hole size because I can use for different types of drinks.I've been drinking a lot of iced coffee lately and start to feel particularly wasteful due to how many plastic straws I used. But now, I carry one bamboo straw with me every day with the rest of my reusable eating utensils. The straws are easy to maintain and clean too. Worthy choice.

I bought these reusable bamboo straws in anticipation of the rumored plastic straw ban in my county. This is my first time trying bamboo straws, and I’m happy I chose these to start with. I'm pleasantly surprised to see how nice these are for the price. The size of the straws and the selection is good, and the cleaning brush is well made.The natural bamboo straw is beautiful and feels nice to drink from (I was afraid it wouldn’t). There are a little different sizes and thickness as they are made of natural bamboo, and I love that. All in all one of my favorite Amazon purchases.
