Gift for my brother who had heart surgery to keep him occupied.

This was pretty easy to build, i made a few mistakes where i had to go back a few steps because the manual wasnt clear on which color brick to use. Once assembled the functionality is pretty cool to watch but it requires 6 AAA batteries so i wont keep them in the bricks but will display it on my shelf.

I am So Very DISAPPOINTED in the SIZE. NOT WORTH THE PRICE of $ 50.00 U.S.A Dollars.I Would NOT RECOMMEND THIS ITEM TO ANYONE.

Good quality fun to build engine that actually runs on batteries, good clear instructions, good quality parts, comes with motor and battery pack (you supply the batteries), nice and large for a good display, worth the price

Thanks! A Good little 552 Piece set! The small box holds two numbered stages, some clear instructions and the motor & battery box. There are no stickers in this set! There were no missing parts. The battery box requires 6 AAA, not provided. Rechargeables work fine. This little red white & blue engine is a good one to do if new to the Mould King engine series since it has no particularly fiddly parts and it stays together fairly well, better than some of the others! It also has a slightly more charming motion with how it is mounted, rocking back and forth a little, giving it a more realistic character than some of the bigger engines.

I've built about two dozen engine brick sets now, most of them powered and most of them from Mould King. Overall, I've been pretty impressed. Because this is a powered build, you do need to take your time and assemble it fairly precisely and make sure the pieces are fitted up solidly before continuing. Otherwise, it won't run properly when it's built. But if you build it carefully, it does okay. This one doesn't seem to work quite as well as some of my other builds, but it does run for a minute before it binds up. It looks super cool too. I display my engines on my desk when I'm in the office, and it always gets conversations going among the car nerds. These builds really are super fun, both to build and to display. As for the set itself, the instructions are really solid, which I have come to expect from Mould King. The bricks fit together nicely, although some of them needed to be squeezed quite hard to get them to really snap into place. And the finished build is super awesome. Overall, another solid engine for my collection.

nice little engine no parts missing. what i did since i do not plan to take apart was i clued my sprockets when i made sure everythng was right plus i took a link out of the chain, runs like it should. now i am going to put engine sound from an old rc truck i have that has a mode for engine sound i think i will buy a bigger one now, was a nice little project very pleased with the price and product cheers

Model was a lot of fun doing with my grandson was expecting a more realistic engine build and not a Lego type build someday I may try again with you to find an exact replica of a V8 engine Ford Chevy or Marpar would be nice
