Why so much added sugar?

response to previous answer. A SMALL amount of sugar? in each bar there is 2 7/8 teaspoons of sugar. 3 TEASPOONS OF SUGAR per bar? That isn't a small amount of sugar. These suckers are sickly sweet.

With all of these reviews talking about expired items, can I really be confident that I'll get fresh and quality bars?

I received a box of Nutri-Grain bars this past Saturday (May 30, 2020), and the expiration date on the box is October 20, 2020. I've ordered these and other food items from Amazon before, and have never received anything out of date.

Please come in great for breakfast with some juice or with some fruit when I'm in a hurry you cannot beat this price with a stick you get all that for one price I like them so much I bought them twice they did go up with dollars so I'll wait till they come down before I repurchase as I am thrifty but they all were fresh intact they came in their own box that was yet in an Amazon box of the delivery was safe I highly recommend them and they're quite tasty the apple cinnamon is my favorite the nutritional content is on point there is enough moisture in it to where you don't choke because most granola is hard but this is a soft tasty that comes in many different flavors and portable enough to toss in your purse if you have to go in a hurry and need something to eat for the price and what you get I highly recommend good quality
