Bob Ross by the Numbers (RP Minis)

Super cute stocking stuffer. Multiple people said they wanted one too after they saw it!

I was actually impressed with this mini kit. I got an easel and paints and a brush and instructions for 3 paintings. I was really happy with how they came out. Fun and easy. Great for yourself or gift.

Of course, the way these are outlined and built for you to paint, they won't look like a Bob Ross style painting, unless you go all out and highlight the cartoony bold spots (which CAN be done!). I haven't actually TRIED the paints yet, so I can't speak on that (and I'm not expecting the Quality Bob was so adamant about), but you can pretty much use any paint - maybe not thin water color though. The tiny booklet about Bob and some of his teachings is so cute and you get a few little pictures of some of his works! It's really a sweet and fun little kit that would be fun for ANYONE who likes art! It also comes with a tiny easel (which I'm not sure will work that well, but it's still cute!). The "CANVASES" are actually tiny paper pictures glued onto thick cardboard. Didn't like how misleading that was... But again, it's a cheap FUN little kit! Don't expect quality, but expect "cute fun"!

Overall this is a great little gift.My mother loves painting and thought that this was adorable when I gave it to her. The mini easel is pretty cool as well. Overall a great little find.

Such a cute little creative gift! Perfect for a birthday or stocking stuffer. Note that this is a novelty and not super functional as an "art" gift. The paints are thin and dry quickly so they're challenging to mix and work with; if you need a tidy result or don't want to mix your own colors I recommend using markers or your own paint. Not really an issue as i didn't expect premium materials in a cute miniature set. Worth it for the novelty project!

It is very small and annoying to paint with. Made for a kid not adult.

There is nothing wrong with this. But I gifted this to my mom and she told me “I am disappointed.” The colors aren’t quality and not much quantity to the paints. The picture turns out different from the pic on the box.Now here’s the thing, my mom is an experienced painter and enameler., she’s very crafty. She knows what quality painting materials are.This would make a good white elephant gift, but is not for someone good at painting. I’m sorry the pic is blurry. I took it from FaceTime because she is 83 and doesn’t have a smart phone.
