This heating pad works really well and has become a regular part of my routine for relieving shoulder tension and easing headaches. It heats up quickly in the microwave, retains warmth for a good amount of time, and contours nicely around the neck and shoulders for targeted comfort. That said, even after dozens of uses, it still has a noticeable smell, not overpowering or unpleasant, but definitely still there. It hasn’t been a dealbreaker for me, but something to keep in mind if you’re sensitive to scents. I love these. I use one as a "pillow" - so much better for my neck and shoulders than an actual pillow. The warmth is comforting and helpful .

I like how long it is bc i have face pain and neck pain. It covers both. It is a bit itchy but I still use.

I'm considered a senior, senior and experience neck and shoulder pain and stiffness. My doctor has recommended that I try heat therapy in moderation along with medication. I searched products offered on the web at Amazon and found a number of varieties in style and approaches. This wrap best suited the overall features I was looking for. Long enough to circle around my 17 1/2 inch neck, weighted enough to stay in place, dense enough to hold heat for some time and a pleasure to have as a companion. Microwave allows the user to obtain a desired heat level in short time and the fact that the heat dissipates gradually helps to protect the user from over exposure to high heat sustained for long periods. It is absent of any perfumes that might linger in the microwave and that makes my wife happy. Everyone is tempted to try high heat and it is a nice experience but returning to the microwave to sustain a lower heat level is more apt to sustain the pleasure for a longer periods without ill affects. There is one draw back to the wrap for me and I have submitted two photographs of how I made a simple addition to close the wrap closer to my neck. On one side I added a string loop and at the other end a wooden peg that passes through the loop to close the neck piece like a shirt button at the collar. I will be replacing the peg with a suitable ball button. I have only had the wrap a few days and I believe its use is providing relief already. I might add, this product would be great to toss into the bed for a warmer.

So soothing. Heats up to a delectably warm temperature in less than 2 min in the microwave. It holds the temp for a good amount of time and it smells so good. I’ve had it for less than one day and I already want to buy more for all my friends.
