In the past the battery on my tractor would go dead in the winter for lack of use. As you can appreciate if you need to use the tractor in winter and the battery is dead you are in a predicament. I came across this Maintainer after replacing two batteries and lots of frustration. After installation which is very easy, it will provide a change of 1.5 amp. I plugged it in and and on days the battery should have been dead the tractor started like a champ.I was so please I bought another one for my John Deere lawn mower. Agin works great.

I have several vehicles, so I have these permanently installed under the hood of each vehicle. They do a terrific job of keeping the batteries from discharging because of little or no use. They have saved me hundreds of dollars in car battery replacements over the years. They are easy to install and mount in the engine compartment of your vehicle. They usually last for many years.

Used to keep my motorcycle battery fully charged. And was capable of bringing battery from week To able to start motorcycle fairly quick. Battery record length could be longer and with a polarized connection with clips easier to charge battery

I like that it is small enough to easily install inside the engine compartment. I also like that it charges at 1.5 which simlulates the "natural" charging from the alternator while the car is running. I work from home and rarely drive my 2012 Mazda 6 2.5L and have a paracitic draw from my amped sub as well as a GPS tracker/ignition kill security device, so needless to say I have issues keeping a proper charge on my battery. It was fine when I drove daily to an office, so the primary culprit was likely not driving enough to allow my alternator to keep my battery topped off. This charger/maintainer allows ease of charging once per week overnight and I suspect that will solve my charging issues. During installation, I also noticed that my terminals and engine ground (which I used for the charger ground) were dirty. That also may have contributed to my battery charging issues. Installing this allowed me to clean all that up. It did take several hours for it to switch from charging to green, but was expected. If you have similar issues I had, I would recommend this charger. As time passes, if anything changes with my rating I will update it. UPDATE: I have had zero starting issues since using this to fully charge my battery, and charging overnight once per week seems sufficient so far.

Bought one 5 years ago, wired a cigarette lighter type plug into it, I switch it around all winter keeping all my equipment batteries topped off, works great,about to buy another so I don't have to switch it around so much

Bought it for my emergency power generator. Works well keeping the battery charged and in optimal condition. East to install.
