I tried to return as soon as i got it because the sockets were incompatible. They didn't pick it up nor refunded. I bought then and adapter just to learn that it's a stupid 110 volts appliance. It's ruined now and a complete waste of money.

DO NOT buy if you live in the UK. Absolute waste of time.
Do not buy if you live in the United Kingdom. Product uses incompatible plugs and is 110v, does not specify this in any of the product description. Complete waste of time and money. Avoid at all costs.

Bad product and not the right size.
I ordered a 1.2L and received a 0.6L model. The water splashed out of the steam valve in the lid. I returned it. It also came from the US which was not clear when I purchased it in Belgium. Cost me a lot to send it back 👎

Worth the price
This is an excellent rice cooker. Well worth the extra money if you want a non-teflon bowl. And there's no compromise as far as I can tell. The stainless steel bowl is substantial, they did not cut corners. The base unit is well constructed too. The steamer actually works and I didn't even want it, but tried it and it did broccoli well. I was worried about it being non-stick but for the most part rice doesn't burn to the bottom, and if it does I just soak it for a bit and it lifts right off. It comes with a plastic spatula but why use it? It's stainless steel so I use metal tools.
