Kitchenaid is supposed to be the gold standard for mixers, right? Well I'm tired of the leaking motor oil in my food and the base wiggling at high speeds... I use my mixer daily to make bread dough, I need it to work for me not for me to baby it. That being said, I used this mixer to make mashed potatoes for dinner. WOW. It worked like a dream. The speed dial is wonderful, no more click click when I want to change setting or drastic jumps in speed when I do. This mixer eases into speed transitions. Those potatoes were mashed in under a minute, they didn't stand a chance. The mixer looks and operates like a factory machine but fits in my kitchen so I can feed my large family. It's also WHISPER quiet, my KitchenAid mixer would make a RACKET whenever it was going and the motor would make so much noise I couldn't hear myself think! If I could give this mixer 10 stars I would! I love this product. It is good quality and proforms like it should. When the package came in this morning, the box itself was in great condition, but when I opened it the clear lid was broken. Becuase of this I cant turn the mixer on. This is my second mixer. The same exact make a model becuase they are outstanding mixers. I just want to replace lid and not the whole thing, but amazon does not give me that option, and since I'm disabled it's going to be hard to repackage and take this heavy item to usp to get it refunded or exchanged. I'm highly disappointed that the lid is broken. I feel tripped with an item now that I spent alot of money on and cant use becuase amazon doesnt give me the option to just exchange the lid.

The mixing bowl broke on this unit within about a month of purchase. You can’t use the mixer without the bowl... also, build quality is generally poor. The whole thing rattles and bounces around like it’s about to fall apart from the stress of its own torque, and for whatever reason it beeps constantly like it’s warning you that it’s in danger of falling apart. I wasn’t even mixing anything serious, just some very vet bread dough. Almost $500 and it didn’t even last past a few uses.

I like the Large bowl. It's quiet on low and medium speed, as long as you don't have thick ingredients in it, then its in flight mode. I don't know how it can do bread or cookie dough. otherwise i love it> Hard to let it down , seems like it gets stuck. you have to juggle to get it down. even then. I still love this blender!

This is the best machine I have ever bought. It does a good job. I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in a cake/dough mixer.

the welds on the bowl broke and it takes a special bowl, so this is not totally worthless to us. I have tried all over the world to find service or parts, not gonna happen. zero support here. Probably covid put them out of business. AVOID!!!

This was very impressive when you first get it. Looks clean, worked as soon as I turned it on but... I found issues when I opened the box. I would give this a 5 star but my product was found damaged when I opened it and looks used, had a few dents on the side. The box was fine so it wasn't a shipping mistreatment. I normally wouldn't care but this wasn't cheap and it was a Christmas gift for my wife so I was disappointed when she opened it. Amazon was very helpful and is helping me get a replacement asap. As soon as it gets replaced, I don't mind updating my rating.
