LG Cosmos 2 VN251 Verizon Wireless CDMA Slider Cell Phone w/ Number Pad + Full Keyboard (No Contract)

I'm a current Verizon customer and replaced a broken phone. I've done it in the past with no problem but this time Verizon wouldn't let me activate this phone. I actually had to call and they agreed to activate the phone. I was informed these cdma basic type phones won't work on the Verizon network any longer. So I bought myself another 6 months for $30! Phone is working beautifully.

Recently purchased this phone to replace another slider phone that had broken. I read in the notes on this product that it will work if you have an existing account with Verizon. That may have been true in the past, but Verizon will no longer activate this phone.The seller was very efficient and professional, but sadly the product is obsolete.

Good for calls and texting. Verizon said it probably won't work past January 2020 because it's only a 3G phone.
