My son loves to use this. It is so easy to clean. It does not stain the clothing. The red just needs a few layers or otherwise can look a little pink, but it serves the purpose. He wants it in other colors.

Update: the dye did last the whole day & dried very stiff. But he hated the smell (i thought it smelled good, but it is a strong smell) & said it gave him a headache & he does not want to use it again.I am so surprised at how happy I am with this product!! We got it for crazy hair day for my 5 year old. He has blonde hair, so the dye shows up a bright, bold blue, just like the picture. He was SO excited to wear it lol. It does dry pretty stiff, but he has short hair so it wasn't a problem. It washes right out with warm water --I didn't even need to use soap. I put it on a comb & then combed it in, that worked a lot better than smearing it in with my hand.I did not try it on my darker haired kids, so I don't know how well it shows up on dark hair, but it coats the outside of the hair rather than soaking in, so I'm thinking it would still show up, just not as bright.

The red color way had a nice color, it wasn't ultra bright red, but it was red enough to notice it and looked good. It went on easily and washed out really easily. It came out with a bit of scrubbing and a modest amount of shampoo, which was great. It did not stain the bathtub or any clothing, but it did not dry well. My son put it in his hair early in the morning before school and by the time he came home in the afternoon it was still rubbing off on things. While it did not stain darker color laundry, it did leave a faint pink tone on our beige couch even after using an upholstery cleaner on it right away. It's not bad enough that I would warn away from using the product, I would just take care when using it in the future to protect light colored furniture and clothing better.

I am not going to discourage you from trying this product , maybe it works for you, BUT it definitely did not work me, i have medium to long fine straight hair. Perhaps this is most suitable for very short hair, so if you are planning to try it, i have a few warnings and tips for you:BEFORE YOU APPLY THIS PRODUCT1- Use gloves and toss them immediately you finish applying the wax. Do not use this product a few minutes before leaving your house. I recommend you trying this another day and be patient2- Protect your clothing . If you are going out, you cannot put your shirt on after your hair is done. Do not wear white. Do not get your hair wet ( from drizzling rain) . Do not go working out, sweat will make a mess ( my assumption)3-stay away from any fabric, curtains, rugs, towels , bed sheets , etc ...this will stain anything, no matter how careful you are.4-cover your white bathroom sink and floor. Use old news paper or trash bags. Yes, it sounds like a production , but it is going to be worth itWHEN APPLYING THIS PRODUCT1- use a very small amount in your finger for tiny strands of hair, one at the time, from the top down , rotating the hair with your fingers so it gets applied evenly .It is going to feel like you are applying the cheap blue frosting from the cakes at kids birthday parties , the one that stains your teeth, your tongue and fingers and everything the kids touch. You know what i mean.2- I was not planning on doing my entire hair but only a few strands. The wax is going to get hard so try to style your hair quick . if you use a regular comb, the excess of wax is going to brittle in tiny dots. These are the ones that are going to scatter everywhere, on your shoulders , on the sink, the mirror, the walls. You get the picture. That's the reason for all the required protection i mentioned before.3- Be gentle and patient . Your hair now has hard wax and it might be tangled with it. Do not use a fine comb to style it or pull your hair too hard trying to untangle it4- It is said that this product is for kids. NO WAY. I cannot imagine the mess if a kid uses this product. Might as well buying that cheap cake and give it to them. They will have more fun

I would have given this a higher rating because the color did exactly I wanted it to, BUT even after air drying it the blow drying it, it still got every where, I couldn’t even slightly touch my hair without it leaving a gold glitter mess

This product was very easy to use with a comb. I did not try to rub it in with my hands like the instuctions suggest. Others had stated that there was an odor with this product. It may have had a slight smell but it smelt like normal hair gel to me; nothing unpleasant. Easily washed out with warm water.My only complaint was that this appears to be a chineese product. The box it came had a broken seal but the product itself was still seal

This product was perfect! I have two boys that wanted their hair in a blue mohawk for crazy hair day. I only had to use about half the jar. it was definitely easier to style and get more coverage, using a comb rather than my hands. It made their hair bright blue and lasted all day. It came off, shockingly easy, in the shower. I did not notice a smell like other reviews mentioned, and neither of my boys Said anything about it. I am definitely willing to order this product in other colors.

I have been trying to find something for my 5 year old son to use since he's been begging me for red hair. I ordered this as an early Christmas gift so he could have his wish for the holiday. I decided to trust some reviews, but its really not that great. His hair is dark and curly. The product is definitely not red by any means, and I tested it on someone else before my son. It's more of a deep pink color. I'm glad my son doesn't seem to notice very much, and still likes it himself. It transfers pretty bad, so be sure to wear dark color shirt with it in your hair. I'd say be careful getting this for kids, because when my son played on the carpet it rubbed on there as well. Overall the product at least washes off hands easily, and its fun for something quick and easy.
