The overall quality is pretty good. The black box is just larger that the size of a box of matches and I really like that once everything was set up I could "hide" the box from view. The box itself worked fine and once my iPhone joined to the network it created I was up and running. This particular adapter has available some apps which can be sued directly on the dongle itself. I did not try any of these as really wireless car play was all I was looking for.

Well I tried to be patient but I’ve given this enough of my time. After reviewing this with my original review below the seller got in touch and offered a refund which I accepted. But this was short lived as they backed out and offered “tech support by WhatsApp” instead. This product doesn’t need tech support and any more of my time resetting it and clearing cache memory. Having to sign in to all the apps over and over is painful. Finding your phones WiFi signal is also painful. The manual says do it once and it auto connects. It doesn’t every time. This product is falsely claiming to have Tik tok but actually “Tik Tok Lite” that this product comes with is not compatible in the UK. So if you’re buying this for TikTok in your car don’t bother. YouTube brings up Java coding errors eventually but Netflix works fine.I am an advanced computer user with a degree in computing. I don’t need to spend any time on a tech helpline. The problem is with the product’s coding. It’s wrong to state TikTok and the software is awful. Just avoid at all costs. There are better ones out there.Original ReviewGiving this 3 stars because it was a little jittery. My phone had 4/5 bars and 4G and the weather is bad, so it could be a signal issue. If so, I'll amend this review, because otherwise it's pretty good. But I've just tested it in the car and it took ages to load the main Netflix screen, and YouTube took the same time. Tik Tok just didn't work saying Tik Tok Lite not available in the UK. So I'm not massively impressed with the speed, but as I said it could be a signal and weather issue today (because it connects to your mobile phone data in order to stream the video footage!).

This seems to be a very good product. It was very easy to install and started working straight away, unlike another that I had to return!

I recently purchased this MMB wireless CarPlay product based on the seller's description and specifications listed on description.Unfortunately, upon receiving the product, I found that it did not meet the expectations set by the seller. The product was advertised as having certain features and capabilities that it did not actually possess. The video quality is really poor , you need to connect with your google account to a doggy copy of YT music also it takes ages to load and even once loaded it gets stuck. Not to mention that it gets really hot after 2h driving and used only Waze with it .I was disappointed with the discrepancy between what was promised and what was delivered. This has led to a frustrating experience as the product did not fulfill its intended purpose for me.I would caution future buyers to thoroughly research and verify the specifications of this product before making a purchase to avoid similar disappointment.

youtube loads but comes back with a 403 error when trying to play a video - despite updating the app and firmware also using the different players - It also wants me to log into my google account through a qr code that leads to a youtube clone site - seems dodgytiktok is unavailable in my country - haven't tried netflixandroid auto works but is a lower quality than direct to the car infotainment

Ok to use for carplay but impossible to log into netflix

I bought this as I have wired CarPlay currently and now this has made it wireless, not only that now I have all the media apps including YouTube and Netflix and now my passengers don’t get bored as they have something to watch, the quality is amazing and the fact that the box is so small and you can literally do anything amazes me
