When you dont want to be a lush and drink the whole bottle. I dont drink wine however I enjoy cooking with it. This save the wine for the next time I use. Also gave these with a nice bottle of wine around the holidays. Everyone raved about them.

Maybe it was me, but I've used these three times and already broke one. Seal holds well, but they are a bit difficult to pull back out of the bottle.I will say this comes in a really nice box and would definitely make a great mother's day gift or something along those lines.

When trying to remove air does not release, you do have to pull and tuggle a little to get it out, pushing or tilting at top of cork does not work as instructed. Also when sealing in cork it takes alot of pumps to get air out; almost feel like no pressure of air until alot of work has been pumped into the cork.

I know have discovered how to properly use these stoppers. You just need to repeatedly pump them and they vacuum seal the bottles. They work perfectly!

These little stoppers are well engineered but so small the pump takes forever to vacuum a 750 ML Bottle. The next day when my wife tried to open a bottle that was partly used the previous evening, she pulled on the stopper to remove it & instead of releasing the vacuum, when she let go of the device, it was sucked into the bottle - pretty humorous! but, rendered the remains in spoil! Neat idea ..... but........ they ended in the trash, they were very inexpensive and did give us some humor! Might be OK for the road where space is critical.

So far, so good! Great concept, works good... still testing for wine quality preservation!

There is no pressure release on the unit. Built in pump, but it can get stuck on the bottle. I'm still searching for a better product.

In the rare occasion that we don't finish our wine, these stoppers do a great job. I use it often for less-used cooking wines.
