Spur Tree Jamaican Ackee in a Can, 6 Pack

I’m not Jamaican, but I love ackee and saltfish. It’s usually expensive to buy ready-made, so I decided to make it myself — and I’m so glad I did! This canned ackee gave me great results. The texture was soft and creamy, just like it should be. Very satisfied with how it turned out. Will definitely order again.

Taste is good and quality of the ackees are better than some can ackees. I like the taste.

Very low quality product. There were a lot of small and broken pieces in each can that we used. The brine is more of an ackee soup because of how the tiny pieces of ackee became mushy. I was hoping for great value, this is the definition of “you get what you pay for”

I opened one can and a few pieces of the ackee was a little lighter than the rest so i picked those out cleaned the rest and it was smooth sailing
