Great overall
Great quality and so many features. The video quality is great and its compact enough to carry around wherever I go. Only downside is falling in love with photography. The battery life is ok for photos but if its video, I'd recommend multiple batteries

Great camera
I love this camera. Light weight, and takes great photos. I love Sony. I usually shoot with my A7iv, but wanted this for my street setup. You can't go wrong with this if you're on a budget, but want quality photos. Pair this body with a Tamron lens, and you're good to go for low $$.

Incredible Camera!!!
This is an incredible camera. I went from a Nikon D7100 to this Mirrowless Sony. A great decision. Most of time it gets the exposure dead on without a gray card. I was pleasantly surprised at just how good it does. No more Nikon for me. I’m sold on Sony!!! Only drawback is there are a lot of screens to make adjustments. Not enough to give it a bad review though.

Great low light image
First : I only use it for church streaming. I don’t use it for stills. Now that’s out of the way …. My church lighting is horrible. Our previous camcorder worked well in old building with more light but in this dark stage setting, the image was super grainy. This camera fixed all that low image quality problem. We stream indoor and with AC so we don’t get any overheating problems but I don’t know if it will overheat in different environments. We also use 120v power adopter and no batteries.

👏🏾 Made the switch from Canon 📸
Trust me, I would have stayed with Canon FOREVER but I was tired of the subpar 4k video on equally-priced Sony cameras so I had to switch. This Sony camera is AMAZING and I feel silly for not switching sooner!I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER OR VIDEOGRAPHER, just a female who likes high-quality gear. I will compare it to the Canon Cameras I have returned/sold, rebought and still own (which are all the Canon Rebel Series, Canon 70/80d, Canon EOS 6D Mark II, and Canon M50). These are JUST the highlights of comparison to the Canon Cameras I own with my 9-month experience using this Sony camera.4k VIDEO DIFFERENCES over Canon (all Rebels, 70D, 80d, 6D Mark II, M50)* Actual 4k pixeled file, smooth and crisp.* Doesn't have image stabilizer, but can fix in FCPX. Need a tripod or gimbal for moving videos.* Smaller 4k files than any Canon camera I own, faster upload/download and editing time* No record time limit* 6k sampling* Processes video files MUCH fasterBATTERY LIFE DIFFERENCES over Canon (all Rebels, 70D, 80d, 6D Mark II, M50)* Similar to 80d/Mark II* Option to plug the battery directly into the wall for continuous power. Need to buy this plug separately.* Can charge camera as you use it tooAUTO-FOCUS DIFFERENCES over Canon (all Rebels, 70D, 80d, 6D Mark II, M50)* Faster autofocus but not perfect for video (still quicker than Canon)* Super fast autofocus for imagesSOUND QUALITY DIFFERENCES over Canon (all Rebels, 70D, 80d, 6D Mark II, M50)* Useable audio, much better than Canon PERIOD. (still would use external mic but a great back-up audio option)Obviously, there is A LOT more great features than this but these were the most important ones for me (coming from Canon). The camera does not have any heating issues, haven't had it shut off on me yet in 9 months of using it. I didn't have an issue with the shoe being on top, as I hardly used a gimbal (some didn't like that). Also, the colors are nice, perfect for my skin tone (not too blue) and I prefer it over the Canon. I know I probably may change my mind as Canon releases its newer models but for now, I'm very pleased with this Sony. GO SONY!!!!!!! I hope this somewhat helps you :)

Solid Entry-Level Camera
The Sony Alpha a6400 is a solid entry-level option. I bought it thinking it would be amazing for my sports photography, and while it was good, it wasn't great.Pros:Good for Landscapes and Portraits: This camera excels in capturing beautiful landscapes and portraits.Compact and Lightweight: Easy to carry around, making it great for travel and on-the-go shooting.User-Friendly: Perfect for beginners or those new to mirrorless cameras.Cons:Not Ideal for Sports Photography: I realized this after upgrading to the Sony A7iii, which is much better suited for fast-paced action shots.Overall, the Sony Alpha a6400 is a great entry-level camera, especially for landscapes and portraits. It’s a reliable and user-friendly option for those starting out in photography.
