Quality in feel, balance, 'looks' and smooth writing. I'm impressed. My first fountain pen in decades. I do feel different in writing again....more than just a fountain of youth memories.

I am new to fountain pens and didn’t want to spend a huge amount of money on my first pen in case I hated it. However, this pen is reasonably priced and writes beautifully. There is a little bit of a learning curve. I think that’s true for any fountain pen, especially if you’re a brand new user of this style of pen. I bought the gold model. It has a nice weight in my hand. I use it daily for a few lines in my five-year journal. I do have to give the ink a little time to dry so that it doesn’t smudge. I’m guessing this is probably normal with fountain pens as it is normal with some of my gel pens. I’m not sure why there are less than great reviews unless the quality control on the manufacturer of the pen is not great or somebody’s trying to throw shade on this manufacturer. My experience has been nothing less than excellent.

The first few times I used the pen after unboxing it, it would minimally not dispense ink here and there as I was writing. Alas, after just a few days of this, it seemed to be totally fine. Seems like there was just a short break-in period. I've used the pen just about daily now for almost exactly two months. The included ink is excellent, and since the first few days of getting the pen, I have not had a single issue with ink being dispensed. Changing cartridges was super easy and no mess whatsoever. I keep the pen in my backpack or jeans pocket, alternating most days. This pen writes flawlessly, and I'm very satisfied with this purchase. I chose this one over the 35$ Wordsworth brand, and though I like the fully chrome finish option that Wordsworth offers more, this pen has proved a better use of my money for 1/3 the price. Plus it comes with a nice little slip case and all the extra ink and the ink injector for if you buy in bulk. I may consider getting a second one just to have strategically located at all times :D

This pen is substantial. It has weight behind it, but is still comfortable and durable. The design of it is beautiful. It is perfect for both my husband and I who have different size hands, and we both love it. The only complaint I had, was that I did not feel the instructions were easy enough. I had to look up a video on how to install the cartridge. And I am not sure what I am supposed to do if I want to switch between blue and black ink with the cartridge that has already been punctured and in it.

A nice budget pen that is worth more than its price. Connects to paper with a satisfying scratch, a smooth writer with moderate flow giving just the right amount of ink. There are some pens that are better aligned with my writing style, this is one of those. Well worth the budget price especially if you want to try out using a fountain pen before making larger purchases.

Absolutely beautiful pen it flows like Silk and for the price it's a excellent deal. However the delivery was a bit of a mock-up I don't know whose fault it was most likely the delivery company but Amazon did everything they could to get it to me as soon as humanly possible and I thank him for that that's why I shop here

For reference: The notebook is 5.5" x 8.24". I will likely buy another pen. UPDATE: I did buy a second pen - the black and gold. Unfortunately, the nib was very rough, very scratchy, and although I tried all the possible gentle fixes, I had to shelve it. That is the chance you take when you cannot try out a pen before you buy it.
