Following hip replacement surgery I was lent a sock aid. It was so useful that I wanted my own. I have narrow feet and this tool was perfect for my socks as it didn’t stretch them as far as other products I tried. The blue insert is a lovely silky fabric and means my feet slide in so easily. The terry-towelling on the outside grips the sock and enables an easy pull. I only use it for one foot so I can’t comment on durability, as it is fine so far. The trouser pull-on tool also works. I haven’t needed this as much, as my grabber works quite well on trousers.

A simple to use product which my husband swears by! Definitely does the job.

Why did you choose this product over others?: I was recommended to this product in advance of my hip replacement operation. I’m so glad I purchased it. £ for £ it is the best value product I have ever had from Amazon. It is so easy to use and takes all the bending away from putting your socks on. Post operation you obviously cannot bend your legs as you have before and my wife had given me help immediately after the Op to get my socks on but she has a back problem so this took over. I did wonder if it would work as I wear cushioned ribbed sports socks which are slightly tight fitting. Have no fear if you wear the same it does the job perfectly, I just cannot sing its praises enough. Would I recommend getting one? Without a doubt.

This is perfect for my elderly Father who has trouble bending to put his socks on. He finds it really helpful.

I’ve only used the products for less than two weeks, and not consistently. The sock aid is already starting to fray at the fabric at the top, and the clips on the trousers aid are not strong enough to hold heavier/thicker fabrics. If I needed these aids long term I would be more disappointed, but I only need them for a few months during recovery. With the exception of the trousers aid sometimes popping loose from thick/heavy bottoms, they adequately get the job done. Life would be harder without them.

Works a treat! Easy to fit the sock, slide the toes in, a gentle pull on the cords and sock slips on with the heel slid on perfectly!

A brilliant product & so easy to use,I purchased this after my hip replacement & it meant I could at least put my own socks on,it even worked with trainer socks too,very impressed & will definitely recommend to anyone who has difficulty bending down.

This item has been very helpful for my 98 year old Mother. It would take her a very long time to put her socks and pants on prior to getting this, as she has severe Osteoarthritis. This has made it so much easier.
