This is a great way to travel. I had plenty of room for 3-days worth of clothes, and my bathroom supply, electronics. The quality of the backpack is impressive and well made. The zippers are not cheap and will stand the test of time, I'm sure. It's worth a few extra bucks compared to cheaper versions. You get what you pay for. I recommend!

We ordered and tried 6 different vacuum backpacks from different sellers and/ or manufacturers. This particular one from Vortex stood out above the others in regards to quality and compression. I am ordering the smaller 45L one as well. This 60L one is for my husband but it is too large for me. I am 5'1" and the bag is too long. The laptop compartment is very padded, has multiple pockets for papers or folders and there are straps to actually hold the laptop secure. The side with the TSA lock also has a handle to carry it instead of using it as a backpack as well as charging ports for USB A and C. The bag expands approximately another 2 inches to hold more stuff. Backpack straps are very padded and comfortable along with extra padding for your back. The side pocket holds a 20 oz Simple Modern tumbler with ease. The outside material is very strong and seems very durable, especially when compared to the others we tested. As is the case with all compression bags the zipper is difficult to pull, however this is necessary for an adequate seal and vacuum. There is a small zipper compartment on top with a mesh pouch and a key ring. I like the fact that there is not a shoe compartment in this brand as well. The compartments opposite the vacuum bag are very sturdy and it is possible to put shoes or dirty clothes in them. Zippers and stitching seem to be durable. Although this bag is more expensive than the others we tested, it is well worth the additional money. It is made in the USA and comes with a lifetime warranty.

Bought it for travel use, and it fits all my needs and gear. The vacuum sealing works and efficiently increases more storage space. Been loving it and is durable and well built, with zippers that aren’t flimsy and could rip off if pulled too hard. This is not an issue but something to be aware of. For charging the pump you would need a usb-b type brick to charge it. Most stuff these days are generally usb-c so keep that in mind.

I bought the BlackVoyage Vortex 60L for travel, and honestly it exceeded my expectations. The vacuum compression system actually works and makes a big difference. I was able to fit way more clothes than I thought possible, and it still qualified as carry-on. The material feels durable and water-resistant, the zippers are strong, and the backpack stays structured even when full. It’s comfortable to wear and doesn’t feel awkward or bulky. The built-in TSA lock and organized compartments are a nice bonus. It really feels like a mix between a suitcase and a backpack, which is exactly what I wanted. Great option if you travel often and want to avoid checking luggage. Definitely recommend.

Great Bag, well-made very solid feel. Bag comes in a very nice premium Ziploc and then cloth exterior bag. Bag had Lots of pockets very well thought out, has a very large tech pocket for PC or MacBook and a special charger pass through, which would make phones easy to charge on the go in an airport. My main interest in this bag was the vacuum seal compartment, while it took a while to figure out how to use the pump I was able to do it. The compartment fits a lot of stuff. I was able to fit about five pairs of underwear, six or seven T-shirts and two oversize hoodies. I was able to fit another two hoodies once the air was vacuumed out in the exterior of the vacuum seal compartment, so overall very impressed. If you look at the advertisements, it seems like you could fit a lot more stuff than I did, but that is advertising and maybe I have to learn how to maneuver the clothing inside the vacuum seal compartment to fit more stuff. I kind of saw a better way to do it better Other than that really great bag worth the money and I will help you save on luggage fees at the airport.
