Really good quality insoles.
Bought these for a dressy flat shoes I have. The original insoles of the shoes are deteriorating faster than I had expected. And these shoes weren't cheap either. I didn't want to take it to a shoe repair store as they charge arm and a leg for replacing the insoles... I bought these insoles. Very pleased with the quality, comfort, and it fitted perfectly. Will definitely purchase these insoles if I have another pair of shoes with deteriorating insoles.

Product works as described
I received the package really quickly even though I chose no-rush shipping. Great customer satisfaction! The product works as described so far; fits in several styles of shoes (flats, slip ons/Bobs, tennis shoes) and stays in place for the most part when walking around all day. My feet never got sweaty or hot, and I went barefoot. The leather is nice. At the end of a day of shopping I gave my shoes a sniff test and zero smell, which is awesome! The only reason for giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is that they are a little shorter than the size you think you order. I wear a 9 in shoes, so I ordered the 9-9.5 in the insole but it was slightly smaller than my shoes which I could feel on my toes. I ordered a 10-10.5 to see if that makes a difference. Otherwise this product is pretty amazing and I am going to keep coming back for more when I need to replace mine.

These innersoles served me well
I purchased 2 pair of these insoles back in April of 2021 and belatedly have just replaced them in February 2022. So the pictures you see here constitute at least 9 solid months' worth of consistent use. The longer, more worn set of insoles in the photos are from my work shoes. I work 4 days a week, averaging about 6,000 steps a day. The shortened set are from my barefoot shoes I wear on my 3 days off when running errands. I'm doing well if I get 1000 steps in on those days, and the great bulk of those steps, I'm not wearing shoes.I really liked using these innersoles. I liked the fact that they were slick and my socks didn't stick to them. I don't generally wear shoes without socks, so the leather sticking to my feet wasn't really a problem. I liked how I could feel the ground through my shoes with them on.I think I put these innersoles through alot for them to hold up as long as they did. And yes, the carbon did flake off into my barefoot shoes a bit, but my shoes are still in pretty good condition thanks to these. Also, I've noticed that my socks aren't wearing through quite as fast on these as they did when I was wearing wedgy, cushioned work insoles. The only thing I was not fond of with these was the price, but again they lasted well over half a year (probs should have replaced them around the 6 month mark in hindsight). $30-ish for 2 pair is not really that bad for all the benefits. All in all, I'm glad I purchased them. They were excellent in setting the bar for my future zero drop shoe experiences

These are fantastic in a way I didn't expect
These are fantastic in a way I didn't expect. When I had some cork sandals (Kork-Ease Myrna 2.0) that started to smell like vinegar after getting wet in the rain, I didn't know what I was looking for or if it was possible to salvage them. The shoes I had are women's 7, although most of the time I wear a 6.5, and I ordered the EU 36 (US women's 5.5) so that I could leave a bit of the original cork insole under my toes. The insoles wound up fitting perfectly like I wanted, leaving about half an inch of the original insole when lined up against the heel of the sandal.I never had shoes smell like that before, so I didn't know what to do. I tried putting them in the freezer for several weeks with baking soda, and cleaning them with rubbing alcohol. Those both worked to remove the smell temporarily, but it would come back after I wore them again. I wound up cleaning the insoles with kitchen Lysol, leaving them to dry in the sun for a day. After veryifying that the existing smell was gone after the Lysol treatment, I glued the new insoles in with rubber cement (There's no adhesive on the bottom!) and have worn them several times in the Texas heat, walking several miles each time. Guess what? They don't smell at all! The leather is soft and comfortable.I couldn't be happier with this product and am really glad I didn't have to throw out my shoes. I am strongly considering buying more for flats that have no cushioning on the bottom or that have a tendency to stick to my feet.

Don't Stay Put
I bought these to go in my Tieks, since so many reviewers seemed to rave about them for that purpose. Mine are a year old and I've had trouble with the insoles getting sweaty, causing the bottoms of my feet to rub and get sore when I'm on my feet a lot. I was having to constantly clean the insoles of the shoes to keep that from happening and thought an insert to absorb sweat and protect the insole of the shoe would solve the problem. These mostly fit the shoe, but the first day wearing them, they kept getting stuck to the bottoms of my feet, which caused them to shift around constantly and just feel uncomfortable. By the end of the night, when I took the shoes off, one of them had been shoved back far enough that my big toe was actually on the shoe's insole. Both of them tried to come out with my foot and had to be readjusted. I thought they were pretty comfortable initially, but after wearing them all day the soles of my feet were still sore at the end of the night and the next morning my ankle hurt (a problem was having a lot before I bought my Tieks). It's particularly annoying with Tieks because their purpose is comfort and having the inserts in took that away for me and made them a pain to wear. If you're looking for these for you Tieks, for a similar reason, look elsewhere and let me know if you find something that actually works.

Comfortable and Thin
I needed a thin insole in place of a thick Sole supplied with my Rothy Flats, since I appear to be between sizes. These fit perfectly and made my flats wearable.
