There are more expensive pointers with more features, more range, green lasers, but you'll come back to this one time and time again because it does exactly what you need it to do, and stays out of the way when you don't need it.

First of all, it works. I had an important presentation and I used it for that. I didn't test the distance, but it worked fine from about 5-10 feet away. The big issue I had was understanding the clock and timer. On other clickers, you just set the countdown. This is NOT like that. You have to set the actual clock to the current time, then set the alarm to a specific time you want it to go off. So if you have a 15 min presentation and it starts at 3pm, you set the current time on the clock, and set the alarm to go off at 3:15. When you're editing the timer, you have to tab through hours, then minutes and then tab again and roll UP to turn on the actual alarm.Once you know how it works, it's pretty slick. Holding down the Fn key flips into mouse mode, and though it's not a true mouse, you CAN use the up/down/right/left buttons to move your mouse around, then click Enter to trigger the mouse click.It's not nearly as nice in the hand as the higher end clickers like the logitech R800, but it's half the price and has the extra mouse function. Overall, it's small in your hand, DOES have an alarm, and works pretty well.I'm giving it 4 out of 5 as it really does feel pretty plasticky and cheap, and the instructions weren't super clear on how to set the alarm (well, they weren't clear if you're coming from a timer mindset and not an alarm mindset).

I wanted a small presenter that allowed me to not only change slides, blank screen etc but also gave me a timer and the ability to move the cursor and to adjust the volume. This does it all in a handsome instrument for a good price.

The reason I bought this was for the mouse feature on this. You can find google slide or power point clickers easily, but not one that has a mouse feature as well. The mouse moves SO slow, I could walk up and physically do it on my computer quicker than using the wireless presenter.

Got this for work presentations from my laptop. I'm not very computer savvy and I was able to work it. lol

Product worked fine to start, but then the mouse works now intermittently, battery last at most 1 hr. Very nice but really not useful for a long presentation.

I looked for Bluetooth class1 remote control device and finally reached this one.This is not by bluetooth but say 100m distance by 2.4GHz.It worked normally but honestly I did not try with 100m distance yet.Much smaller than I expected.Its adapter can be stored in the lower end of the body decently when not used, seems a good point hard to lose.
