Nicotinamide Riboside contained in this supplement is a precursor to NAD+ that is more bioavailable. The supplement is delivered in a large capsule form. I take it as directed on an empty stomach with plenty of water. Without enough water I feel like the capsules I swallow stay somewhere not far past my throat.I was impressed with the secure packaging to deter tampering with the product. First the top of the neck of the bottle had a foil seal that needed to be removed. The cap fitting over the lid of the bottle was shrink wrapped with a plastic ring. The bottle was packaged inside a box that was covered with a sealed plastic wrapper. The box indicates the product is made in USA.I have only taken the products for two days so I cannot comment on any positive effects yet. I have read some benefits might be noticed within 3 months, while others or enhanced benefits might occur 6, 9 or 12 months later. In addition, some of the health benefits would require clinical lab tests to discern.I can say that I have no ill side effects such as nausea or upset stomach taking this supplement so far and I will continue to take it.
