Great Replacement
Great replacement for a great price. Bought because the volume control on the remote for my VSX-821 stopped working. Took this out of the box, pointed it as the receiver and boom. Success.

Works as expected
I bought a used VSX-821 in mint condition for cheap but alas, no remote and operating that think without one is not an option. I had a universal but there are sooo many function on the receiver you really really want this remote instead.

Niche but is exactly what is says it is
Obviously a niche product, but I have had no issues with it. Does not include batteries. Works well with my pioneer vsx-821 AV receiver.

Great replacement
The volume buttons were not working anymore on our original remote. This replacement worked perfectly upon receipt. No programming needed. It is a great replacement!
