Okay for swimming pool?

Possibly okay for swimming since the material will be quick to dry.

Does this suitable for running ?

Yes, since the material will work for most activities.

is the zipper solid? and won't break off? because i've ordered a jacket from amazon before and the zipper broke soon as i tried to put it on.

Yes it’s a good zipper well this specific brand I got and the jacket is soo soft and it’s true to size I’m a size small and it fits good so get the size you are cause it’s pretty stretchy and it does give an effect of making the waist area look smaller I love it
