Fantastic Style and Great Value
I bought this bike for my wife as an early Christmas present. She previously had an e-bike which was OK but no where near as good as this one. This Eleglide Electric Bike is a real beauty. Easy to assemble, great design, is well put together, robust parts and materials used, plus fully adjusts to fit the rider perfectly. My wife and I are still amazed at how good the bike is for such a low price. In addition, the battery lasts a good length of time and at full speed the bike is fast. I have a non-powered bike which cost three times as much as the Eleglide Electric Bike and I would say it is of equal quality. If you're looking for an e-bike I would recommend this one!

Decent ebike, packs in a punch for the price!
I bought this as my first ever ebike. It's surprising the amount of features it includes for an ebike that costs less than £1,000. It's got front suspension, disk brakes (although a bit cheap-feeling, and which squeal loudly if you press the brakes firmly), integrated lights and a very comfy seat. The step-thru design makes it a very comfortable bike to ride, specially if you're short like me and most bike frames make you stand on your toes when stopping. The motor's responsiveness is great and it is powerful. While it comes capped at the legal speed in the UK, you can manually increase the cap, although it will be to the detriment of the mileage range. Similarly, the bike comes with an optional throttle accessory. While not legal in the UK, I installed it and tested it, and it's good fun to use the bike as a sort of mopped. The battery is beautifully integrated and securely locked into place, so you don't have to remove it every time lest it gets stolen. However, I found the range/mileage to be a bit disappointing: using the pedal assist levels 4/5 i am getting less than 50km with one charge. Whilst it's not too bad, its half the advertised range.I feared the tires would be flimsy as they look quite thin and with shallow tread, like from road bikes. However they are proving extremely tough, even on the third world roads of Edinburgh. When you go at speed you do feel like you're riding a cheap bike though. Everything is held together with a few bolts and nuts that you have to assemble yourself as the bike comes only partly assembled - it doesn't feel as solid as more premium bikes.Last, but not least, the after-sale service was very good. When I assembled the bike and tried it, I felt the the gear shifting was clunky, and the rear wheel brake barely braked at all. I took it to my local bike store for an initial servicing - turns out a metal piece around the gears was bent, which impacted on the angle for shifting gears, and the brake needed adjusting. I contacted the seller and they were happy to refund me for this first service, so I don't hold the wee issues against them!Overall, it does feel like a budget purchase, but for the price, I think it's great value. So I recommend it, but don't expect a Ferrari of a bike!

Takes the hard work out of hills!
Very pleased with the bike. Easy to use with a good display which is easy to see even in bright sunlight. Cycled 25 miles using levels 2 and 3 with some steep hills on the route and still had battery life left. Great for around town too. Brakes could be better.

Quality
I'm very disappointed .I bought 2 T1 Eleglide Electric Bikes and had the same issue on both bikes. Stem bolts over torqued and almost impossible to open. I broke one tool on first bike but after a long struggle managed too open them but on the second bike 2 off the 4 stem bolts refused to move and got destroyed and I had to cut off ,it doesn't help that all bolts have thread lock on.Come on Eleglide if the bike is fully assembled for your customers yes but if you expect people to assembled your bikes why make it so hard with over torqued Allen bolts with thread lock on. 🔐
