OK let's talk about Wide Calf! I have super huge calves. I NEVER find boots that fit. In recent years they've went from 18" to a little over 19". It's impossible to find a boot that doesn't look like Capt. Hook. Most pleather boots look awful in wide calf for the most part because they usually cut way into the ankle and then bow way out, or they have a band of elastic material up the side or back- I dislike that look. To make matters worse, my feet are wide, with cankles, bunion on one foot, high instep, and I need a wide foot-bed as well. It's a big ask.Happy to report, these boots nearly check all the boxes! ONLY one caveat, for me I wish the heels were 1" shorter. Then they would be perfection.These are "Vegan Suede" aka a material which resembles suede. There is plenty of room in the calf area. The zipper is on the inside and only at the ankle. Kinda weird, but the top is roomy enough for me to step in. The material isn't not stretchy, but the adjustable flap is nice and tight at the top with the metal loops, no slouching. I am 5' 5" and these hit just below my kneecap. There is a slight platform, and as mentioned, I only wish the heel wasn't so high - I think its around 3". I am older, so 2" is usually my limit. I like the color- a warm caramel- and looks great with jeans. I am tempted to get the black ones as well.I am a 10 W in shoes, but I ordered an 11 XW. Truth be told, they are a bit too roomy, but I plan to add a memory foam insert to help with comfort and I can wear heavier socks. The great part is I can wear these tucked into jeans! They really are a God-send.

First, let me digress that I hate my legs. My calves are oddly shaped and I don't have ankles. I am the original inspiration for the word "cankles". So I resorted to living a life of 40 yrs without boots because I could never find a pair that actually fit my ankles and calves in my actual 8 or 8.5 shoe size...UNTIL NOW. OMG, when I say it's like someone tailored a boot from the heavens just for me...I am downplaying these geniously crafted treasures. In the picture with both shoes on, I had my wide leg jeans pulled up to my knee and for the back leg I had the jeans stuffed in the boot. Either way...WORKED. You know why? Because these boot angels made the actual calf and ankle straps usable. The hardware is not just decoration, you can adjust both to fit your legs perfectly! The side zipper just at the ankle is really the cherry on top of the already awesome sauce. I was literally daring these boots not to fit, but they just laughed in my face and slapped me around a little. So long story short, if you've hated your oddly shaped dinosaur legs like I have your entire life and never got to experience the bliss of boots, these are THE only true answer...TREAT YOURSELF! I would rip all the stars I could grab from the heavens to rate these shoes with and it still wouldn't be enough.

Finally—boots that look amazing and actually fit my wide calves comfortably! These are so stylish and easy to wear, I can dress them up or down. Plus, they’re super comfy right out of the box—no painful break-in period. Love them so much, I might need a second pair!

Comfy, great for super big calves like I have. Regular show store brands are 3 to 4x the cost and didn't fit my calves. Foot is a bit too wide (I have a wide foot too so this was unusual), but it allows me to wear warm socks on frigid northern US days.

It’s been super hard to find durability in a boot that is comfortable and this is that pair. The size is true, the style is my favorite along with the color! Easy to walk in and turn heads at the same time!

These boots are quickly becoming my absolute favorite shoes ever. I purchased them in two colors. The description includes measurements for calf size and it seems very accurate! These wide calf boots are actually wide calved, and the foot seems true to size. I've worn them for 12 hour days, and they're incredibly comfortable (and I can even squat and dance in them). They also seem to be durable so far, as they have been worn in rain, snow, mud and for miles a day.One of the heels makes a funny squeaky sound and I can't figure out a way to make it stop BUT these boots are so great in every other way, Idon't even mind.
