Nicely made, good materials and workmanship. The zipper in particular is sturdy.It's relatively thick/warm, and the stuffing came a bit wadded up in spots... but it smoothed out easily.I don't care for the snap-close pockets, but that's a nit.

I said the version because you never know in the future the fill can be downgraded the thing is that i live in Philly, PA so the winter can be crazy so i tested this vest in 10 degrees fahrenheit, and snow of this 24" december and 25" winter and is a good piece of equipment. With a fleece this vest and a rain jacket you gonna be perfectConsis not water repellent and the shell is not even water resistant as the description says so keep that in mind is a pure mid layerThe goodThe fill is not lightweight is heavyweight for being a vest so is perfect as a mid layer

Very nice puffer vest. Warm and cozy. Seems well put together. I was going to get a real down filled one, but this is fine and the sale price made it a bargain. I'm hoping it will last 30 years like my old down one has, though many a feather has escaped thru the years and I've put some rips in the fabric. This is very light in weight but plenty warm. I only need it three months out of the year so it should last a long long time. It's not stuffy, it's puffy.
