SV3C 4K PTZ 36 ZOOM outdoor security camera

It was easy to setup with the CamHiPro App. I like the fact that it can connect with 2.4ghz or 5ghz WiFi. The 8MP lens gives it great image quality for videos and photos. Most cameras have infrared mode at night, but this one also gives a full color mode or, the one I like the best, Intelligent mode. What this does is when it senses that someone is approaching, it activates a bright light and then stars recording in full color. This may scare someone who doesn't have good intentions. The AI alarm allows you to pick Humanoid recognition, vehicle recognition, or pet recognition. I always use the Humanoid option. If you watch my video you will see how it follows the person across the yard, even as he goes behind the tree. It automatically zooms in and out and focuses as the person moves. Here is a tip for just recording people. Turn the motion detection off in the app. Leave the AI Alarm on. Move the camera to your start or home position with the app. Then go to the preset area, on the app enter 92 and hit the setting button. Clear it out then type in 92 again and then hit the transfer button. I also like the fact that it will email alerts that can include photos or video clips and that I can view the security camera live on my phone.

I wanted a better camera for the front of my house so that if need be, I could read a liscense plate on my street. The things I like about this camara are as follows. It was easy to install (I had an ethernet cable at this location and I've found that 4k cameras on wifi tend to cut out sometimes). The zoom is very impressive! The camera looks very sturdy and well built. There is a feature that allows you to set it to follow and zoom in on objects as they move across the yard. It was easy to setup with Blue Iris as that is what I use for all of my cameras. The night color vision realy lights up my driveway with the bright LED's it has. The IR night vision is very bright as well. I did play with the app (CamHiPro) and it is very intuitive. The camera does have AI so you set what objects you want to detect (cars, people, etc.) This cuts down on false triggers. My only wish for this camera is that the field of view would be a bit wider. All in all I'm very satified with it and would recommend.

I really enjoy the picture quality and I can get the picture to pan up and down with the app, but my camera won't turn left or right. I went to amazon and they had me contact the vendor. The vendor doesn't follow up. Super frustrating.

Since relocating, having a camera that I can access this way has been essential. If I don’t have the app handy, I just pull up a browser on my computer and I’m good to go. For the price point, this camera is an absolute steal. If you need commercial-grade reliability and features but don’t want to shell out hundreds of dollars more for comparable options, this is definitely the way to go. I connected it to my network with Wi-Fi and controlled it via BlueIris. The app is intuitive and easy to use, allowing full control over the camera’s settings and features.
