Pilates Reformer Machine ,Foldable Pilates Machine Equipment for Home

The unit arrived in perfect shape and assembled easily. It is an ok length for me at 5’6”. Anyone over 5’9 would be uncomfortable. My goals are to strengthen my core, hip and leg muscles. I use weights for upper extremities. Considering the prices of bigger , heavier units compared to this unit makes it just right for me. I recommend it to my friends and would buy it again. Glad I was able to spend a reasonable sum and get a good work out at home. Recent knee replacement has removed jogging, weighted squats and higher resistance biking. Will get back to all but jogging eventually.

Well made, easy to assemble and use. It's a little noisier than I'd like and not as long/wide but great for the price and does the job. I'm short, only 5'1" so taller people might not find it as such.

I researched this Pilates reformer well before I purchased it. I searched reviews regarding the quality of the reformer. This one "fit" the bill. I carefully watched videos from other reviews searching for the height and weight of the reviewer. I wanted something to fit a specific space. One where I could assemble, fold it, store it alone and, not need help because it was too heavy. Something constructed with study material. Functionality was of paramount importance as well. I wanted a smooth gliding reformer with quality pulleys and straps. A quality carriage with comfortable shoulder blocks. I wanted a sturdy frame and strong footbar as well as strong springs. Additionally, I wanted a reformer that I could ship back home easily or sell locally and have no issues with the buyer moving the reformer. I found all of that with this reformer.There are a couple of things that might be a negative but not necessarily. It does not have an attached headboard. It comes with a head support that is not part of the reformer but it works well. It is a little hard, but can be cushioned for comfort. Additionally, this reformer is a little smaller so if you want a studio-size reformer, this is a touch shorter than that. I am 5'5" and works well for me. If you are shorter or taller, then you can move the foot bar up or down to fit you. Overall, I am very happy with this reformer as it works well and I can do Pilates 24/7 since there are no Pilates studios around the area where I am temporarily working. It also looks like a nice piece of equipment, so if you want to keep it set up, then it is NOT an eyesore.

This works well for for me and my partner. I am 5'4" and my partner is 4'10. This is a great budget buy, but requires some refinement to de-horn the sharp edges throughout the metal parts where human skin comes in contact. I filed the sharp edges and sanded smooth for tactile comfort. After de-hornimg, this feels like a quality pilates machine. I had to clean the track to removed debris and relube with synthetic lithium grease. Now it is butter smooth.

Fast delivery, well packaged and a very sturdy frame makes this a good value. Aside from the price, the folding feature was important to me. The folding process isn't hard but the reformer is heavy and not convenient for everyday storage; once folded it's easy to move on the wheels. I've used it for intermediate workouts and the small bed is a restriction. It came with 5 (light?) and 2 red (medium?) resistance bands and a set of springs with no information. Switching the bands is easy and I haven't used the springs yet. Two negatives for me are the pulley cords and the shoulder rests; the cords are noisy. The shoulder rests are squishy and small and don't feel safe for some work. While the frame is well made, replacement cords and resistance bands will likely need replacing. Despite the negatives mentioned, you can get a good work out on this reformer with a few body adjustments at a reasonable price.

I've been on the hunt for a reliable at-home reformer when I'm not taking classes at the studio. This one has been ideal! I liked that it had options for springs whereas a lot of at home machines didn't. It's comfortable and fits my 5'4 frame. It was quick to build and has been great to use for at home workouts. No hiccups as of yet and no issues with any of the equipment.

It is unique. If you have used wood framed expensive reformers you will not like this equipment. The pullies are not aligned so be prepared. The good thing is, one can do basic stretches and extensions. It’s to awkward to repack and return.

I am so happy I bought this as a starter reformer! I needed one that was off the ground and easy to store. I buy a lot of fitness equipment with limited space and it is perfect! As for the cost, apparently, this is the entire cost of a monthly Pilates class. This was definitely a good deal. What I will say is, I am 5'9" and if you are any taller than that, it may be an issue. When I fully extend my legs from the bar (on my tip toes) when it sits at 45 degrees, I hit the very end of the reformer. I really have to watch myself in order to not slam against the back. Controlled movements are the point of Pilates but in my case, it has a double meaning. All in all, highly recommend this reformer.
