Great read!
I met Sarah potter during one of her trading webinars 3 weeks ago via Tradestation. I have since joined her trading room which is an invaluable experience. I decided to get her book so I could learn more about Futures and establish some well defined options systems trade. The book lays everything I was looking for in an organized fashion without being too elementary. I’ve been trading options for a few years now and was worried the book may not be advanced enough. That was not the case. She gives advanced strategies but with clear step by step instructions. I look forward to seeing Sarah in the trading room and eventually opening my own trading business!

Awesome. I had been looking for a book to ...
Awesome. I had been looking for a book to learn how to trade and this one caught my attention right away. I skimmed through the first few pages and read that Sarah was a successful trader with no formal education in trading. She had a full-time job as a learning consultant and eventually, was able to quit her job to be a professional trader. This resonated with me and I had to know more. The book really helped me to understand the basics of trading options. I knew nothing before picking up this book.If you were like me and know nothing about trading, this is a great book to get you started. If you understand how options work, but aren't making money, this book can teach you strategies that work. I can honestly say that this book has changed my life. Since reading the book 6 months ago, I've now joined Sarah's live trading room and attended one of the seminars. I trade part time and hope to go full time in the near future.

Sarah Potter's background as an adult educator combined with her success as an options trader has combined to provide an easy to follow book on a subject that is not always easily understood by many. Her concise and well explained observations on the numerous risk/rewards and possible pitfalls of various option strategies, helps a beginner or intermediate options trader navigate and hopefully avoid a minefield of mistakes that await the unprepared trader. Potter brings the reader an easy to understand plan of action as well as step-by-step procedures that will easily organize any serious trader. Put away any dreams of becoming a multi-millionaire overnight but by following Potters plan of action successfully trading options is not just a possibility but a probability. You will not be disappointed with "How You Can Trade Like A Pro".

Excellent Book for Traders!!!
This book is excellent for beginners and advanced traders. Beginners get valuable information on how to trade like a professional trader. Advanced traders are reminded of the basics of trading the markets. Sarah teaches how to trade the markets with high probability and consistency. I've personally applied Sarah's teaching in trading stock options and have had consistent success. As a part-time trader, here are my opinions:Read this book, create a trading plan that work with your personality, follow Sarah's blogs, apply your trading plan, be sure to apply proper money management, trade small, and trade the high probability trades often. On a final note, my opinions are just that. For professional financial advice, consult with a licensed broker at a reputable brokerage firm, a certified financial advisor, and a certified accountant.

Don't buy for futures entry setups, but good to learn the basics
I think Sarah does a good job of discussing the basics but do not by it for the futures trade setups. When She discusses her trade setups they seem to lack a systematic approach with clear criteria for entry points and she doesn't lay out where her stops would be and why. In one example of her setups, she shows up-trending candles and when there is a slight pullback mid trend she puts and arrow that says enter here. There is no explanation of why to enter at that point, like "it pulled back to level XYZ or moving average." Also, her approach relies mostly on incorporating the indicator she designed, which you will need to purchase.

Risk to reward?
I'm giving this 2 stars because there is some basic options information that a newbie might find helpful. However; I would NEVER tell a person relatively new to trading to follow her credit spread strategy. I was a member of her trading room and watched her trader make profits of $30-$50 on a few trades and then take a $200 hit...they called it a "small loss". Well, it is a small loss BUT when your average win is less than $50 it is a HUGE loss. She lets trades go in the money with the hopes that the market will turn by expiration. Credit spreads are probably the worst risk to reward in the investment business but she fails to discuss this. If you want to learn a few things about options you can read the book - if you want to protect and grow your money stay away from credit spreads.

Enjoyed the read very Much
It may not be the best book on the market and not100% on the money, but I learned quite a bit of information from it as a newbie that other articles and websites have helped to clarify and explain in greater detail.

How You Can Trade Like A Pro was very informational
I was interested in obtaining more information about stock option trading, How You Can Trade Like A Pro was very informational. There were enough trading examples to help me get a better understanding of this mystical option trading market. Paper trading with the concepts and information I read about will help me gain the confidence to move forward with real capital trading. Thank you Sarah for sharing your knowledge and understanding.WD

Not for beginners
This book is being marketed to first time investors, but I feel it’s much more challenging than the marketing suggests. Here is an example of the language: “Because the ATR shows a range of price action, it helps traders to avoid getting stopped out because their stops were set too tightly for the volatility of current price movement.”If you understand that even a little bit, then maybe this is book is for you. But it’s not, as marketed, a book for people who know a little bit about the stock market and want to learn more. It’s much more advanced than that.

Best Option Trading Book I've Ever Read!!
For anyone interested in trading options, this is, without question, the BEST book you will ever find! Extremely well written and very easy to follow. Options are complicated but Sarah explains everything in such an organized and structured way that I believe anyone can grasp this. I particularly like the "5 W's of Options Strategies" table (very well constructed) and also her step by step examples of trades from start to finish. A minor point: I have read quite a few books on options and trading and noticed that nearly all have been riddled with spelling, grammar and even math errors. It has been particularly enjoyable to read a book written by a such a very talented teacher as Sarah. I have never written a review before (my first!), but as I was reading through this book I compiled this review over and over again in my head because I simply couldn't believe how well her material was presented. Read it - you will agree.

An excellent book for learning how to trade options effectively!
This is an excellent book for anyone wanting to break into the world of options trading. It is easy to understand, and alleviates the complication, and confusion found in so many other publications that are out there. Anyone and everyone can learn something from this book, whether you're a beginner wanting to start out with the most simple options trading strategies, or a veteran trader looking to expand your knowledge with more advanced trading strategies.

No added value.
I bought this book when I was first starting to learn about options. Sarah has some different view points and she gives you some of her life lessons with trading. She does highlight option strategies and goes over terminology and charts. But this can all be found on the net for free. this book has no real added value and there for is not a recommended buy.
