I have not used yet, but upon inspection after receiving it, the Mat seems to be well made and durable, tried sliding my hand over it , seems to grip very well. I could not give any less of a rating as I have not properly used cleaning fish, So I can only say I am happy with my purchase so far.

Perfect for loading into the tool box for our fishing trip. The flexibility of the rubber mat made it easy to roll back up in its original case once done. The added rubber strips also held the fish in place as we scaled and filleted our catch on the spot.

This mat is heavy. It is thick rubber with nubs that act like grippers on the fish. I do like that it doesn't slip when I push on the fish and the fish doesn't slide either. We have done 8 salmon on it and we both think it makes the job easier. As for cleaning, the fish bits do get between the fingers so we use a hose sprayer with good power to spray it out. We haven't tried it in the field. Would be nice to get a brush with it to make cleaning easier. Great addition to our fishing life.

I would buy these and give as gift to my fishing friends. Works awesome
